  1. There you go Freddy...there you go. Now offense, keep the momentum swing in the Sox favor and give the Sox its first lead of the night!!!!
  2. Now don't relax Freddy...put down Vazquez and than call it a night.
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:02 PM) This is no time for a manager to try and getting his struggling starter to prove something. If Freddy ain't capable I don't know who is. He's a big time pitcher and he will make the pitches. DOUBLE PLAY :WOOT
  4. f***...Freddy get your head out of your ass and put guys away. Ozzie, stick with Freddy. He's gonna buckle down and get through this inning. He needs to show he has the stones to step up and sit down a team when necessary. Now do it.
  5. Now Freddy...get your freaking head into this game and make good pitches and sit the tribe down!!!
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:57 PM) Be honest: who thought Sizemore was going to catch that? I figured knowing the Sox luck someone would make an amazing catch. Luckily it got over (Paulie just crushed that too).
  7. Now for once, please Freddy put the Tribe down in order and keep this game knotted up at 4 entering the bottom half of the inning. Come on WHITE SOX
  8. PAULIE PAULIE PAULIE PAULIE WHITE SOX WHITE SOX WHITE SOX Come on SOUTHSIDERS
  9. f***ING BUM...Now pick up Everett's slack Paulie Believe in the power
  10. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:44 PM) Jason, you can try to be as positive as possible, but this team is done. It took exatly 19 minutes for this game to be over. That was the amount of time from the first pitch until Cleveland to put up it's second run. -- We all know by now that the Sox haven't comeback from a multi-run defecit since July 30th. -- I see nothing from their play of late to indicate that we will see another multi-run comeback this season. This puts us in a huge hole when our pissant pitchers can't get out of the first inning unscathed. The only way we win is if we score first and can hold the opponent off, and we've been bad at that lately too. Right now, I'd be surprised if we didn't get shutout all 3 games. Tonights as good a time as any to end that stat and streak. I refuse to be negative in a time like this. Its only going to make me more bitter than I already am when it comes to this club (namely one Ozzie Guillen and his use of the pitching staff as well as his non-use of Ross Gload). This club is capable. Its gotta go up there with the approach of taking Millwoods fastball and driving it to right field.
  11. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:43 PM) I'm all for Timo, lol I know that sounds crazy but he'll bunt if has to and he'll hit opposite field. Plus he has more speed. Right now I'd look about as good as Everett in the lineup. Another big bender gets a Sox guy to strike out with a runner in scoring position. Come on you f***s, get a clutch hit and start putting something together :rage
  12. QUOTE(soxman352000 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:42 PM) You are about as hardcore as they come my friend This team looked way too good for too long to be this bad for a long stretch. They will find there way. I have no doubt about it either. Now lets get the job done Juan.
  13. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:41 PM) Come on White Sox, you guys never gave up in the first half, change the mentality and string a few base hits in one inning. I for one refuse to give up. And this Sox team isn't going to give up. I haven't seen them throw the towel in all season and they aren't going to in a playoff like game.
  14. Yes, Aaron hits one hard and Blake makes a poor play in the outfield.
  15. QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:37 PM) Cleveland will be the AL Central champs. better start focusing on that wildcard spot No, they won't. Sox are the better team and need to start playing there game. Things may work out tonight and this could be the win that gets the momentum back on the Sox side. And it may not be, regardless, Sox are a playoff caliber team and all they need to do is get back to basics and start executing. I have my fears that the staff has just been totally burned out, but hopefully thats not the case.
  16. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:37 PM) Ozzie wake up Freddy is s***ting so much now and hurting the team, get him out of there. Screw that. You take Freddy out now and you not only lose todays game but possibly tomorrow's and wednesdays.
  17. Haffner...goodbye 4-0 Tribe Every mistake Freddy has made tonight has been hit a long way.
  18. Welcome to Soxtalk. Great to have another Sox fan aboard
  19. QUOTE(soxman352000 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:35 PM) I don't know what this team needs right now, but they better find it quick This game ain't over.
  20. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:32 PM) Like I said, Bonds told him he couldn't play that game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it was the right thing to do. Bonds needs to make sure he stays healthy. If he doesn't, the Giants have no chance this year or next year. That would of been like the Sox getting Maggs back last year and just running him out there for a week straight without a day off. Than when he got hurt again everyone would blame Ozzie. Bonds played and gets hurt, the whole world jumps on Moises. Fact is the guy is coming back and you got to be careful and treat him with care. Alou is doing the right thing and it takes courage on his part to do it. Sure it would be better if Bonds played every single game down the stretch, but thats not the best thing for Barry or the team in the long run (that includes any slim playoff hopes they have). Now go get em Frederico
  21. Wouldn't call it clean, but it definately wasn't intentional. Pollard lowered his head right at the end and Brown was just going for the hit (wasn't looking at Marcus so he didn't realize he was gonna drill him in the helmet). Sometimes that happens in football. It was a nice hit by Brown, but you know he wasn't trying to hit him helmet to helmet. Brown plays the game hard, but he doesn't try to hurt others (well he may try to whallop them and make em concussed, but he ain't going to try and do it outside of the rules of the game).
  22. Fudge...Dye whiffs on a good curveball that was down around the dirt.
  23. Sox caught a break, hopefully they can capatilize and Dye can knock Paulie home. Its also the 1st runner the Sox have had in scoring position tonight. Come on JD, 2 out woodwork right here!!!!
  24. Great AB by Konerko Now come on AJP, how about another basehit.
  25. QUOTE(whitesoxmanager @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:24 PM) back to the subject of giving guys rest on the third game...did anyone notice how stupid alou is of SF for letting bonds rest when they played the third game against the SD the other day? i mean what is he tired? if i were SF fan i would hate that manager. win that game and they wouldve been 4 back at the time. yeah no prob give him the day of WTF? The Giants have more important things, like keeping Bonds healthy. No reason to have him get hurt. They got to ease things back, no matter how tempting it would be to let him play every day.
