  1. I'm sure everyone in AAA is hoping to get the call up.
  2. Hudson would be the best move KW could make at this point, imo. He'd look great on the South Side of Chicago, the only question is what would the cost be. If its one of the bats fine, but if it starts invovling other pitchers I think thats where you may have to draw the line.
  3. At catcher I'd like to see the Sox look at Pyrzinski or however you spell it. I don't give a crap if he was on the Twins. He's a very good catcher for 5 million and a leader. Those rumors about him being lazy were crap coming out of SF. He did a good job after his slow start with the Giants. And AJ is >>>>>>> Ben Davis/Jamie Burke

Their is a definate FA need in the outfield. I think its one the Sox will address, but I'm guessing they will wait for the non-tenders before addressing it.
  5. San Francisco chronicle is reporting this. They said he testified on December 11th, 2003 in the Balco Steroid case that he used them in 2003 and that he started using them before that. Just an FYI and more names I guess are going to be named in the coming days. I guess one of the people at Balco said he was going to name names or something (????).
  6. You better send in your letters...Would you want a team from the OC using that great LA name
  7. Plus I think the Bears are still pretty high on Tank Johnson. Scott doesn't look bad though, has some potential, imo.
  8. Its gotta be like top 2 or something, otherwise Phoenix gets it.
  9. Nah, I just think he wants stability if he is traded. Knowing he could potentially finish his career their.
  10. Because he's name them the Los Angeles White Sox. f***ing Moreno
  11. Was just going to mention Rdub was getting moved to FS. Personally I like this move.
  12. RJ wants to play at least another year after this. Their are some rumros that he will make any team that trades for him extend his contract another year and if he stays healthy he could pull a Nolan Ryan and pitch a lot longer.
  13. Ya, I'm hoping to have some good songs in my head during the winter meetings. Hopefully Christmas comes a little early for Sox fans
  14. Lol, I deleted my post. Soley because she's hotter blonde anyway On a sidenote, thats not a very good picture of her.
  15. Also the Bears have done some work with Haynes as a DT and I expect you'll continue to see more of it. He has good size for an end so it makes sense.
  16. I saw a news report on him just after the Lakers game. Thats how they pronounced it. Although it could be like Rheal Allen
  17. Casue if your not a guaranteed lottery pick then you take the chance of taking a major slide into the 2nd round where you don't get a guaranteed contract and all of a sudden you are in a serious bind. Cause the top 20 players at the very least are all told they will be lottery picks, so if your in that group you should feel safe about being picked in the 1st round, if your not then your likely to go anywhere from late first round to 2nd and if you got eligibility left why not get your education and improve your status.
  18. Oh I got that. Just saying its a foolish thing to do, imo. Well depending on the situation. If you were going to fail out of college or something then I'd say go for it.
  19. Well if you leave early your dumb, imo, unless your going to be a lottery pick.
  20. Holy cripes this guy may be the #1 pick for years from now. The kid is 14, has a 4.0 and is a freshman at Watts. Oh ya, did I mention he's 6'11. He's supposed to be a heck of an athlete and they are already comparing him to Shaq. Note, I may of spelled his name wrong.
  21. At the same time you risk the teams interested moving in another direction and filling those needs. Then they may not have near the pieces available as they would near the beginning of if it were to happen near the beginning of the offseason. At the same time if the teams don't fill those needs, then they could have more pressure later in the offseason. Still I think nows a good time for the Dbacks to move RJ and if they dick around it could really bite them in the ass. They got to make sure to make a smart deal, but they also have to realize they aren't good enough to compete and that they should be thinking 2-3 years from now.
  22. I figure since some of us have it that it be cool to play some games together at certain points. I know their were MVP leagues and other stuff that worked. Anyway I got Xbox and don't know if anyone else plays Halo2 online but I just started too and its badass. But I figure if people are interested they could all post their online user names for either xbox or ps2 My username is: Bullsback (XBOX)
  23. Well last year they talked about the Angels a whole lot, which surprised the hell out of me. And if the Angels add Beltran and a good starting pitcher, then I think they'll be talked about more. God I miss baseball already
