  1. That error was really costly too, since Wright had to throw a ton more pitches.

    Hello

    Welcome back begood
  3. I'm hoping somehow it gets in. I was planning on watching the Sox game and then bbq with a bunch of friends.
  4. IF the Cubs beat the Yanks...that would be first page BOLD.
  5. maggsmaggs is right. Orlando becomes a free agent at the end of the season. I think he makes similar money to Jose this year. As far as rotoworld goes, they are fools. Cotts is the next in line for that gig. If Rauch was looked upon that way by the organization, he'd have a starting gig and would of been given more of a chance. I think the Sox want to see Rauch really step it up and show he's healthy. As far as Diaz, I like him. He's going to fit in sooner or later.
  6. If you ask me, Koch has pitched well thus far. Good velocity, improved control and from what I've seen much improved movement. I'm not going to claim he's back yet, but I've liked what I've seen thus far.
  7. Then he'd be getting paid more then Vladdy Guerrero, who is, no offense to Maggs, superior in pretty much every aspect of the game. This is a very good deal. First off, its 6 years and right now it appears that the market value for players is going to go DOWN, not up. So he is securing his future and is safe if he does (I sure hope not) get injured. Secondly its for a little over 11 mill a year. If I recall, Sheffield got like 12 mill a year and he is another player that is offensively superior to Maggs at this stage of the game. Since the deal is longer, Maggs will take less money and just becuase he is making 14 mill this year, doesn't mean thats what the contract should start out with. His contract was staggered to this point and I'm still shocked the Sox are paying it. All along I felt the Sox should go long term, give him around 11 mill a year and give him the heavy years so he can retire a Sox. I think in the end the deal will end up being more like 6 yr 70 or 75 mill and it will be the biggest deal in franchise history.
  8. Yes, but in rookies their is no proof they are going to come and burst onto the scene. Its why if your team isn't in a rebuilding mode you have to stagger the number of rookies you have.
  9. The recap says he kept getting stronger as the game went on and he finished the sixth by striking out the side. Fabio Castro pitched two innings of one hit relief in the game as well. Sweet outing Bmac
  10. Thats a single and a run will score. 7-3 now.
  11. That 2nd ball was a strike, that was a really good pitch by Billy. Its now 3-0. Come on Billy. Its now 3-1.
  12. Wow, Koch airmailed that one. Come on Billy, double play ball right here.
  13. I think he's going to be in Chicago pretty soon.
  14. That was an awesome take out slide.
  15. Alright, Crede singles to start the inning off. Come on Aaron, base hit here. Lets get some more runs.
  16. One inning at a time folks...one inning at a time.
  17. Jose gets the 2 runs back on a hanger
  18. Jose needs to get that stuff off his mind. Casue if he's thinking 2 run homer, he's gonna whiff again.
  19. If Willie can learn to control his bat and do that in certain situations, then that will really be helpful.
  20. Rowand did try a bunt, I think on the first two pitches. The first one for sure, but since teh camera man sucked not positive about the 2nd pitch.
  21. Finally the other cameras are back up. I was about to puke from getting dizzy
