  1. Koch has one bad game and you want to crucify him. Geeze, the guy has looked alright so far this year, minus that outing. At least give the guy a shot, its the least that could happen. His stuff has looked better this year and he's always had a great attitude. Count me in the camp that thinks Wunsch stays down for a while. However, I Think he will be back up within a week. First I think they want to see whether Wright will stick in the rotation or if Cotts will move up and then Wunsch will come up and become the lefty specialist. If thats the case then I see the Sox doing this: Cotts to the rotation, Wright to the pen, Adkins to the minors (or Tagatsu, who I happen to thnk will be pretty good for us), and then Wunsch as the lefty specialist to go with Damaso).
  2. Rex, you aught to invite her to catch a Barons game with you
  3. Damn, I give props to Jay for coming out and calling it out and "telling it like it is". Man I love that Simpsons episode
  4. Cool...I guess something is going on. One of the people that responded to the post was someone that covers the Eagles and he said he didn't know what was going on, but something was happening.
  5. All I could see is that it was an internet rumor from the Eagles message board from a guy who supposedly knew a guy (ya, that whole inside source thing).
  6. I saw a few places report that the Eagles were trying to move up to the 16th overall selection so they can grab Stephen Jackson. Their are also rumors of the Cowboys wanting to move up to get him. If thats the case, then it makes sense why the Eagles would covet our pick and Angelo appears to be willing to move down or make a trade. Still, WSox I hope your right and have just scooped all the other places Now for a trade rumor. The latest rumor is the Bears dealing their 1st and 3rd round picks to the Dolphins for Oguleyne and their 1st round pick (20th overall). I can see the Bears doing that, but good god, if Miami did that, WOW. I know one thing as a Bear fan, I'd be happy.

Test tomorrow...test and report the day after, but then its go time
  8. All I know is Simon had 7.5 sacks last year and is a very good pash rushing DT. He's 27, so very young and is really a force. He'd be an amazing upgrade to the defensive front. I'm hoping they get a 2nd or 3rd rounder from the Eagles, but who knows. I hope this is true though, he's a very good tackle.
  9. Didn't see anything on kffl or anywhere else about it. You hear this on the radio? I wonder if the Bears get any picks in return or if its just straight up.
  10. Holy s***. Thats awesome.
  11. Lol Mark...we know it was all you Seriously what were the odds that of all the places we drove past we'd stop at the one where Honel was.

pinned so we can get rolling again
  13. At first I thought it was just going to be whoeever wins would be 1-0, but I noticed the entire score carries over.
  14. I think the Pats take a dt in the draft and a WR with their 1st two first rounders. I read somewhere that Colvin may have to retire due to his injuries, although they could of really been blowing it out of proportion. But his injury is kind of like Colombo's injury, they have no idea whether he'll ever be back.
  15. Ya, which is why I was puzzled when their was all that talk about them moving Washburn. I hope somehow Moreno finds a way to grab another starter becuase their payroll will be quite a bit lower next season. They have quite a good farm system too, just don't happen to have any pitchers ready yet. Although Ervin Santana and Bobby Jenks are freaking studs.
  16. My team is looking just fine...I'm very happy with it. Now if only I remembered to move Graves into my bullpen today...DOH.
  17. Think of it this way though. Anaheim or Oakland. Anaheim's lineup is way better then Oaklands and very balanced (speed, not many k's, power, everything). However, Oakland has its pitching and the Angels have a 3 man rotation basically cause Ortiz and Lackey are eh. I don't think Wash right now is a good 2 and Escobar has only pitched partial games (half the time he looks awesome, other half awful). Colon however has been brilliant and is a big time playoff starter. Then their pen has been bad, minus Frankie and Percy.
  18. Hell ya. Plus whose to say Haynes can't eventually become a solid dt.
  19. Mooch...I'm rooting for KG. I picked them to win it all this preseason, I sure hope they can do it.
  20. I'm the same right now. I'll start watching more feverishly near the end of the first round. Right now too many other things going on, plus the Sox are playing good.
  21. Ya, I think REggie replaces Mike and will go somewhere between 10-17 while Lee Evans moves up to the top 20, imo. May of cost the Bears their shot at Wilfork or Harris, if that is who they want.
  22. Think of it this way, last year was his only sub par year and really its the only time he's whined. Usually I had no fault with his whining cause all he wanted was out of Cincy to play for a winner. However, he didn't like Marvin Lewis for whatever reason and caused problems. In the Pats system with Belliceck he is gonna play his ass off. Plus, they got a ton of offensive weapons as it is, now insert a stud back and wowzer. I think Dillon is still a top 6 back in the league. Tomilson, Ricky Williams, Jamal Lewis, Portis, and Holmes are the only guys I'd clearly say are better. I think he's as good as Ahman Green, as good as Faulk (who knows if he's healthy) and probably some other backs that I'm forgetting right now.
  23. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft04...tory?id=1785560 I heard on NFL Live that they can still enter via the supplemental draft. However, both Williams and Clarett can appeal. If it goes to the supplemental draft, Williams will be taken, possibly even higher then he would of in the Nfl draft and he will get just as much money as he would of had he gone in the NFL draft. Still, I think its bs that the NFL can force someone as good as Williams into waiting another year. Think if he gets hurt, then all the guaranteed money he would of got (in form of signing bonuses) is down the drain because the NFL wanted to keep him out of the draft, not because he isn't good enough, but because they don't want high schoolers and other not worthy players entering the draft. Gimme a break...let the scouts determine who will be drafted and who won't be.
  24. Holy Sheznit....Corey Dillon is now a Patriot. The Bengals got a 2nd rounder. Rudi Johnson is good and at least the Bengals got something for their problem child, but on the other side, the Pats just got one of the top running backs in football and they already are the best team in the NFL. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1785718
  25. Rosenhaus has been quoted as saying that he was informed that the Bears will make a trade offer to the Dolphins sometime this week, possibly as late as draft day. "The most the Bears seem willing to offer is their second-round pick, journeyman offensive lineman Aaron Gibson and a conditional pick in 2005. " The Dolphins have scoffed at this, who knows if the Bears are going to up the ante or not. Oguleyne would be a hell of a pick up though.
