If you can go through it via your schools library, they probably subscribe to the archives. I know for me, whenever I need to do that, I jsut go through my schools library and then can grab any article I want. Only thing is, I checked and they don't have any puerto rican newspapers on there or at least not that I could find.

Luckily at 20 I should outlive him. Its too bad my dad isn't JR, cause I'd of kicked him out a long time ago

Nebraska fans could be getting really upset next year.

I think Xterras are pretty cool. I don't know how good they run, but they are definately cool looking cars and can do a lot of things. I'm a big SUV fan. Another suggestion could be a used Durango. Resale on Dodges stink, but you could probably get a real nice one, used for a very reasonable price. Of course mileage would stink. I'm assuming your looking at SUV's?

I so need to get around to doing that. I think I'm the most lazy person.

Well Stoneman was quoted in the LA Times this morning as saying he has absolutely no plan on dealing any of his pitching.

My dad always leases his cars. He does it because he absolutely hates paying sales tax on the entire car, when he only keeps his car for a few years (He puts on about 40,000 miles a year) so after 2 and a half years, usually he switches. Its a business expense too, which helps. The big thing though is just the sales price. The negative is, your tied down for the entire lease period and don't really have the option of getting out. When you return the lease, I haven't ever heard of paying at the end, the only thing you can get dinged on is mileage and damage, otherwise you just hand it over and you have an option to buy at the end for whatever the buy back is. Depending on the buy back (sometimes a dealer will end up having to eat a lot cause they had too high of a buy back) and then you just turn it in, but if the buy back is lower, you can sell it yourself and pocket the difference. Leases can work really good, depending on the circumstance. RIght now though with all the 0% APR incentives, I think it makes it a little easier to buy compared to lease.

I know in my state, California, there is no exception. My friend got busted on it. He was going out with the girl for like 3 years and well got caught, but the parents of the girl didn't press charges. One 18 the other 17. It was a bunch of bs, imo. California has a lot of dumb laws though.

My recommendation is invest in real estate. Although it can be harder to do, I think overall it is a much safer investment and can have big rewards. My plan is to own two rental properties by the time I graduate from law school.

Well, I don't personally think 17 is too young. Although you got to be careful about the whole statutory rape bit. I think 21/17 is pushing it, soley because she is pretty young, but I don't see the big deal. Its 4 years and by 17, you should be able to pick and chose who you go out with. I've never understood why it is statutory rape if like an 18 year old has sex with a 17 year old. They could be like 3 days apart and its still rape. Thats pretty bogus to me.

If the Sox are considering playing Jose in cf, then they aught to can that entire idea, move Jose to 2nd and let Harris, whose younger and has actually played centerfield, handle CF.

He's out for the season because if he comes back on the field the Mets would get screwed and insurance wouldn't pick up the tab on his contract. Vaughn wants to play, the Mets flat out won't let him.

I like Ramon Santiago.

The Bills were interested in Fassel because they want an offensive coach that will get it through Drew's head that he needs to change his mechanics so he has a much quicker release. They say that Bledsoe's mechanics are all out of whack and whoever they hire will likely be an offensive mind (Although I now hear Jauron is the front runner...man, just think what Shoop could do with Drew...LMAO). If I were the Bills, I'd give up on Drew.

Baggs is one of the original posters. Came here from soxfanatic (I think that was the site) which was owned and ran by BJ Spataro (also a poster here). When that site closed, the people there came to SoxNet's message board, which eventually became soxtalk.com Either way, like I said yesterday...its great to have ya back

Exactly, the economy has so much do to with consumer confidence and businesses being confident there is a market for their products, etc. As long as they believe everything is peachy, all things will continue at a steady rate, in a sense. Its definately not that simple and I'm not an econ major. As far as the war though, lets remember, while it is fake, it is putting money back into the economy and getting things rolling again, just like it did during WW2. And as far as the deficit goes, while it is incredibly high, it still is relatively low in comparison to how much business the US does in a year. Basically a lot of the issues people hear about the deficit are really not true. Its defiantely blown way out of proportion. It is definately something that needs to be addressed, but its also not as big of an issue as people make it out to be all the time. The problem with the government as a whole is they are so damn inneficient. Take NASA for example, they finally did a pretty cool thing with the Mars landing. They made it where you can view the pictures in 3d if you pick up some sort of 3d glasses. Whose to say NASA can't go one step beyond that and start selling their product in a sense. Start things they can market for people, that can raise money for NASA, so that less money comes from the Tax Payers, etc. Not every government entity has the ability to do that, but NASA, if marketed right could do some really cool things that would make it a little less of a tax burden or an expense, although it is still such a small portion of government costs. But if the government really started running things with a business mentality: balanced budget, work on efficiency. This is incredibly hard with all the damn beauracracies, but it would make such a difference. A few things alone could lower government cost drastically, allowing people to pay lower taxes or to simply put the money and slowly kill the deficit or create new programs or clean up the education system, etc. Its nearly impossible to do this, because Republicans and Democrats would never see eye to eye enough to get something like this done.
