Read a few places that he's getting shopped around cause the Twins can't afford him and they'd rather give Shannon Stewart or someone else the money he's expected to get. If somehow he gest out on the market what does everyone think of the Sox moving Lee adn replacing him with Jones. That way you can add value for cheap with Lee and then get his replacement and sign him long term at an affordable rate in jacque Jones. This probably isn't realistic, but I figured I'd throw it out there. Either way, the point this year is gonna be that there are gonna be a ton of GOOD players out there so the team that can give themselves the most money to be creative via trades and everything else is gonna be the one that wins the AL Central. KW's first moves have to be moving Konerko/Koch/magglio/Jose/Lee or at least some of those guys that way he can get what this team will need to go deep, which is pitching.

spybot search and destroy I'm assuming. It checks and removes a ton of spyware from yoru computer and helps make your computer run better. A ton of sites install crap onto your computer that gives it a negative performance. I can proudly say that Soxtalk isn't one of those sites. I'm just not smart enough to install a bunch of spyware to piss everyone off

Get Castillo at 2nd and the Sox can go with someone like Itzuris like Cali mentioned. And Cali I too am hoping and wishing that the Konerko/Jose for Itzuris/Perez deal goes down, even if the Sox have to give up a prospect (no stud, but someone decent). Then use Jose's money on Castillo and you now have a young, talented defensive infield and one really talented offensive player as well as your catalyst at the top of the lineup and Itzuris will develop into a solid 2 hitter (Although I wouldn't put him there yet). I'm guessing the Sox picking up part of Konerko's salary and what Perez ends up making, they may free up a mill extra (They will have to pay at least 2 or 3 mill of Konerko's contract this year). This deal doesn't necessarily give them a ton of relief, but it allows them to add talented players in "need" positions. Now they can go out and move Maggs or Lee for a few more good younger/cheaper players and some potential guys and spread that money to Colon, some relievers and a few vets that stick around. They could do all this relatively cheaply and it would allow them to not have to make a major splash. If Konerko gets dealt, I'd look for one more big trade to follow and the Sox will then slow things out and work slowly at adjusting payroll some more and then making some late signings. Koch/Konerko/Maggs and possibly Lee will all be gone this year, mark my words on that. I feel Colon will be back and the Sox will have a brand new middle infield. Plus you still have Thomas who still can help power an offens. Put decent guys around and this could be a good team. Maybe not an explosive offense but a solid one with amazing pitching.

Ya, Eric Clapton is awesome. Crossroads is great too so is White Room. Clapton also played guitar on a few beatles songs if I recall, could be wrong.

I'd like to see the Sox have 5 good starters...trade whatever position players necessary to make that happen. Resign Colon...make a trade for Odalis Perez...then deal the other contracts for younger/cheaper position players, sign some cheap vets...get some relievers, maybe add one good position player via fa.

Luis Castillo may not be a Marlin as the Cubs are offering an option of a 4th year, just like the Marlins. The Marlins package is worth an estimated 21.5 mill over 4 years (4th year is an option...its 15.5 mill over 3 years). Why the hell are we paying Jose 5 mill a year when we could get Castillo at that.

Injuries are a part of the game. I'm not going to judge how good a team is at this point based on who they have out. You have to get by with what you got and the Colts are doing a great job of that. Sure they will be better once those guys are back. I was well aware of Dallas Clark and some of their lineman being out. And I give credit to the Colts playing as well as they have despite the injuries. But the Packers have been hit just as hard by injuries and I think the Patriots would be quite a bit better with Ted Washington and Rosie Colvin around. Plus I remember seeing something on Sports Center with the Pats as the only team with a winning record in the history of the NFL to have the amount of injuries they have (Don't remember the exact stat, but I know it dealt with games missed and all that). Not trying to knock the injury card cause I'm pretty sure most of the Colts injuries aren't serious (unlike the most of the Pats injuries) but I just go by how a team is playing at this point. If the playoffs started today...I think it would be Titans Eagles and the Titans would play the Pats in the AFC championship game with the Eagles against the Panthers.

You know what other band kicked some ass, the Yardbirds. At one point or another they had Jimmy Paige, Eric Clapton and one other awesome guitarist whose name passes me by. But Led Zepplin was really good. Did you know they were originally going to be called the "New YardBirds" but someone said nah..that crash like a Led Zepplin and hence their name.

The Beatles are definately my favorite, then the Doors, Hendrix, Zepplin, Steve Miller Band. And I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton. Such as Bob Dylan who is freaking awesome.

I do think Jay Gibbons is pretty damn good, so insert him into the deals, and then were talking. I dont' want to even think about getting Freddy Garcia for Magglio Ordonez, I'd much rather deal him to the Dodgers and get Perez and Mota (Not that I want only those two). I just don't see getting Garcia and taking the shot of drastically overpaying him. Now if were talking about moving Konerko for Garcia, thats another story. As far as the prospects, I like them.

s***... ithought I was the only other guy that feels that way. In all honest, Justin Timberlake has a few pretty kick ass songs. His whole nsync crap was a bunch of crap but on his own he is pretty talented. It sounds horrible for me saying this, but he could be a non f***ed up version of Michael Jackson. That music video of the song that won a bunch of awards last year was pretty badass.
