  1. Didn't who let the dogs out also become the Sox song for a while and there was a little argument between fans on which team really had that as there theme song? Daubach walks...see I was just predicting the future
  2. What the hell was I smoking, somehow I thought Daubach was hitting whne Everett was up.
  3. I remember that horn when I was in Toronto a few years ago to see a game. That and Hoohay stuck out to me at that stadium. I also remember how cool it was to use American money there. At that time the exchange rate was pretty good and I bought me a couple fitted hats for 11 bucks.
  4. I don't think Frank was getting thrown out, but DJ mentioned that.
  5. Juan Acevedo is coming in after Daubach walked. Konerko is up. I'd like to see him gear up one of Acevedo's fastball
  6. Today has just been a bad game for him. I don't think he's a bad baserunner though. In all honesty this year the Sox haven't been too bad on the paths. They've made mistakes, but so does every other team in the majors at one point or another. Last year..they were ugly. Full count to Daubbie. Rip it out of here Daubs.
  7. I don't know about everyone else, but I would still like to see some more runs, make the lead comfortable.
  8. YESSSS and Crap... Maggs doubles home Frank and gets caught up in between 2nd and 3rd. Bad baserunning for the 2nd time tonight by Magglio.
  9. YESSSS 3-2 SOX Frank singles up the middle
  10. Ya and come to think of it, it wouldn't of been too bad of an idea.
  11. YESSS, leadoff double by Carlos to right. Thats how its done Carlos. Nice short stroke. Frank is up so I doubt he'll be bunting.
  12. Hudson gets an infield/bunt single. Runners on 1st and 2nd and 2 outs. Come on Gordon get Woodward and end the inning. White warming up in the bullpen.
  13. No i agree with you there. Him not getting the bunt down is BS. I give him leeway cause he isn't ready to handle the bat, but getting down a bunt isn't like hitting a homerun, its something anyone can do if they practice.
  14. Agreed, bunting can be done with practice. 2 out walk.
  15. Jas, he didn't get the job done, but he is also a rookie, give him a break...Double play..... i know hes a rookie but hes also failed in a bunting situation TWICE today. once is bad, twice is unnacceptable. bring him in early tomorrow for coaching and leave him on the bench for just that game. like chisoxfn said he needs to be held accountable. if you keep letting him off hes never gonna learn He messed up one bunt, Jose messed up the other. Miguel whiffed with runners on 1st and 2nd though, but I don't blame him for that...he shouldn't of been up there, they should of pinch hit.
  16. He needs to go deep, cause Porzio goes on Saturday. Hopefully the Sox bats can just creme the ball for a while and give the pitchers a break so the Sox can use Sanders, Koch and Glover.
  17. I feel for Olivo. This has to be hard for him. He's jumping from AA to the majors and he wasn't exactly the most ready hitter at that stage. This has to be hard on him. I give the kid credit. He really isn't ready and I hope the Sox can address this issue.
  18. Jas, he didn't get the job done, but he is also a rookie, give him a break...Double play..... All I'm saying is if you screw up on a bunt, I have the guys held accountable. They get in and they put extra work in the cages so they are better prepared. I'm pretty easy on these guys, but in clutch situations, get the crap done. Get me up there and I'll get the damn bunt down. Its about the only thing I could do at the major league level. That and play Carlos Lee like defense.
  19. Once again, thank you Miguel f***ing Olivo. AAA em and get Kendall and Giles here pronto. Oh ya, Sox still need to win this game.
