I'm gonna be in South Carolina on those dates -
Rupe is now a starter. He was moved into the rotation about a month ago.
-
I guess Rick White said Kenny made a bet that he'd shave his head if the Sox won 7 in a row. White also talked about how he doesn't like Manuel's tinkering and that he doesn't know what his role is in the pen.

The people recalled Davis. It wasn't just republicans that combined to get him out. If it was just a few pissed of republicans then the recall wouldn't of be on the ballot. They got their signatures. The whole reason they have the recall out there is for times like this. Also, it would cost that much if there wasn't an election already being held in November. Since there is already an election all they have to do is add that portion to the ballot.

That and JR are the obstacles.

Lieutenant governor only has a 20 day window anyway, so it wouldn't be huge. The election and everything has to take place between 60 and 80 days from yesterday. I won't be voting for the congressman. I think if the recall goes through, the one thing that will hurt those that want a republican in control is that a few republicans will be on the ballot and I'd guess that Fienstein will be on it as a democrat. Let me be on record as saying i have no problem with Feinstein.

Kenny Williams: Superpimp

California is the same way.

Arnold would of beat Davis had he been in the election this time. Davis is a scumbag. I'm not saying everyone else is good. Hell, I wish Jesse Ventura would come over to California and become the governor. I don't give a damn who it is as long as it isn't Davis. His plans are proposterous. In an economic slow down things happen. Davis had the power crisis in which he negotiates a long term contract for power, but he gets screwed as power prices come back down. Now locked in a long term deal he tells the power companies to kiss his ass and welches on the contract. A smart man would of just let the power prices gone up, people would of seen their month bill and been like holy s***. They would cut back on power, meaning energy is conserved giving the state time to build a new powerplant and as power conservation goes down the price of power drops right back down. Crisis Solved. I think they can cut spending in a lot of areas. You ever seen how ineficient a government is. Just go into a city hall and realize how many people they send you to to get one simple f***ing job done. You go to 3 people for a job that needs one person. The whole damn system should be overhauled. Its state/fed covers schools, police, military, medical (research and such), social security and they also act as watchdogs. If people need help government has programs to do it, but have the people come in, interview them, get all the information, proof of everything and have a check up thing. Limit the time you can be on it (The programs are to get people back on their feet, not to let them mooch off of it their whole lives). Times get hard and you get in a tough spot, government is their to help you, pull you on your feet and give you time to get settled, then you say thanks and they say no problem.

Ya and during good times and bad Davis took over this state with the largest surplus in the country. Now they have a larger deficit then all of the other 49 states combined. I'm sorry, but I hate higher taxes and the republicans have a balanced budget out there but the democrats won't agree to it. The democrats are still lost on getting the budget solved and the main thing is the programs that illegal aliens can use. Is it all Davis fault, No, but I don't buy into this bulls*** raise taxes so they can raise more spending. Davis has jacked up registration in this state. I have to pay 400 freaking bucks a year to register my damn car and its not even a fancy car. In any other state it would cost half of that at the least. I'm sick of all this spending to aid people that don't pay any taxes and aren't citizens in California. I have nothing against people coming over here and having work visas and such, I realize the conditions suck in Mexico and a ton of other countries and I have nothing against programs where people can come over here and work and do jobs. And if they want our benefits then have them use a tax id number and pay some damn taxes.

I haven't heard anything about it. I know there is talk of letting the United States be a voting district for Mexico's elections.
-
Damn Ring Pops, that brings back memories. Remember those lame ass commercials?
-
Thats not fair...I guess they needed the Spurs cap room.
-
Because they still save 21 million and I can't see anyone taking on all that salary and Giles. The Yanks wouldn't even do it. If you take on Kendall with Giles and pay Kendalls entire contract you should get him for free. Gammons said that the Pirates would be willing to pay part of Kendalls contract or at least I thought I heard him say that.
-
That win will sky-rocket his value and the thing is I don't care, he's so worth it. I love the idea of just putting Rowand in center while adding Williams and Ponson to the rotation. I like everything a whole lot better if they get Giles and Kendall too
-
I'd just make sure the Sox got Williams and Foppert (I like Ainsworth too), but those are the two I'd make sure to get. After that I'd hardball them for Ainsworth or another one of their power pitchers. Williams is a stud, so is Foppert. I just hope this team makes the playoffs, cause if they keep all these guys and fail, I'm gonna be awfully pissed when i see Williams and Foppert dominating for the Giants when they could of been dominating for the Sox with Garland, Loaiza and Buehrle.
-
Agreed...Sox would of been better off acquiring Kendall and Giles and never of even thinking about Everett. I liked Everett too. Now if the Sox can get 2 first rounders for Everett and the Sox make the playoffs, then its well worth it. Thats what makes this hard. I still think KW got hosed on this one, mainly because the Rangers paid his way. What I want to know is who else was bidding for his services?
-
I thought the same thing watching that game. Their gun is way high. Also explains how Koch hit 101 in his days with the Jays
-
Francisco is solid, very good arm. Rupe is the best the Rangers got, barn none. Him and Pacheco were the two that I'd least like to see go. The good thing is the Sox have Honel, Wing, Cotts, Pacheco, Diaz and others that are going to be ready before Rupe is. Plus, I think its almost always better trading lower level guys away cause so many things can happen between now and the majors.
-
Damn it, I thought Webster was on the A list meaning they could only get one other name. s***, I hate saying Rupe get dealt. he was just moved to the rotation and is gonna be awesome. Fransico is solid but older for being in A ball and the Sox could afford to move Webster.
-
I don't think Porzio is anything just like I didn't think Stewart was anything after two solid starts agains the Tigers. I'd be happy to see Felix Diaz get a shot. My buddy Cy Young Porzio called me up right when he turned on the Sox game to see Porzio making his first start.

I wonder who the other player is. What time tomorrow is the deadline?
