White Sox-D'Rays on WGN Tonight
Porzio is probably on the plane back to Charlotte. Diaz is gonna be on his way up...well him or Rauch.

White Sox-D'Rays on WGN Tonight
This is ugly..but I got faith. Get White in there and then lets get the sox offense rolling. They need to get patient, wait for the right pitches and they'll start hitting bell.

Gile Rumor
Thats a hell of a deal for them. If they get Burroughs and Nady they are doing exceptional considering all the payroll they cut. Nady is a freaking stud as is Burroughs.

Rich Harden
Just got back from the Angel game. Harden looked real good. Game was a blast even though the Angels loss. I also must admit, floppy hats are pretty damn nice. I always thought they were crap until I put on the one they were giving away today at the Angel game. Oh ya did I mention when my buddy and I were waiting in line to buy tickets, some guy walked up and gave us 2 seats 5 rows above the Angels dugout for free

White Sox-D'Rays on WGN Tonight
I think this will be Porzio's final start. Sox will have a new starter by next week.

Future Hall of Famers
Alomar and Thomas should be first ballot hall of famers. I guarantee Alomar will be although I think it will be a bit more difficult for Frank. Personally I say he's first ballot, but I doubt he gets in first ballot unless he has about 3 or 4 more real good seasons and I'm starting to think we could see a Bonds like turn around from Frank. He's in awesome shape right now and I absolutely his new approach. He is scorching the inside pitch for the first time in his career in my opinion.

Sox sign a Brent Hodges?
Hodges is expected to move to 3rd base and I agree he'd probably be with Bristol. I have no idea who this other guy is, but I think the idea of it being a brother makes sense.

LA
Perez is right up their on my list with Ponson. Either one would be an excellent pick-up and let me say one thing the only reason Dodger management doesn't like Perez is cause Perez has heart. He isn't afraid to call out the Dodger offense which has played worse then the Sox. He thinks the team wasn't playing their asses off and that pissed him off. The guy is all heart and he pitches his butt off every game. This is a down year for him because he was flat over-worked last year when compared to his previous years. I brought it up to my dad last year that the Dodgers have royally screwed him and that his ERA would be at least a point higher next year becasue of it. I just remember that article where people who throw 30% more innings then they ever have are basically destine for a terrible year the next year. I still think he's a very good pitcher though and some really good pitchers were on that list. If the Dodgers would give him up for some offense like one of our 1st/DH/LF guys then I'd do it in a heartbeat. If they are talking good prospects, it would be harder, but considering how young he is, he's basically a prospect but one that has proved himself so its still worth it. Plus he isn't going to be going anywhere or at least I don't think he is for a while.

2004 car preview
Ya, its not my favorite looking car, but damn it can fly. I like the cheaper ferrari's way more..like the spider's. And I still love Porsche 911's. Also, I'd love a freaking old school Chevelle Supersport in mint condition fixed up.

IceCream bad for you...
s*** those are the best. I always eat these fruit popsicles: Lemon and Mixed Berry. They are supposed to be fancy I think, but they are always on sale at the grocery store a buck a box. Damn good. Real Fruit or Whole Fruit or something like that.

The alternative to getting a relief pitcher is acquiring Ponson and moving Porzio or someone else to the pen while dropping Glover, but I don't know if the Sox do that. I still say Stanton (Whose signed for the next couple years) for Glover or Majewski wouldn't be a bad move. Get the Mets to pay most of the contract the next couple years so the Sox only pay him like a mill a season. Glover or Majewski would be good pickups as they both could come in and contribute. I may be wrong on Majewski whose numbers have skyrocketed since Birmingham last year, but I think he's only 23 and I still think of him as a good prospect.

Minor League Boxes for Friday
Stumm is supposed to still have fantastic velocity and from what I remember his era has been in the 1's pretty much all season until yesterday. Sox have been incredibly careful with him and they are slowly working up his workload. Next year he'll be more of a regular use guy and maybe just maybe in two years he'll be up in Chicago (thats a huge maybe; I'd say with all the injuries the Sox move him slow and he's up here in 3 years and thats if he stays healthy). One more injury and I'd say he's done.

Big Frank Contract
Lacrosse is really fun. I like Rugby a lot. But my favorite is beach football In regards to Frank I wouldn't be all that shocked to see him gone at the end of the year. The Sox are going to have to move a few guys simply because the positions are all crowded in the wrong area. Why invest so much money in DH/LF/1st baseman when the team could really use a shortstop and 2nd baseman (If Alomar is gone) and they could also use another reliever. Its just not wise to have all your money typed up in that slot, especially if the guy isn't the best out there. If the Sox were smart, they'd unload at least one of Konerko and Thomas. In the past I would of said the Sox would be nuts to move Konerko over Thomas, but Thomas contract is better cause of the mutual options while Konerko has a much more guaranteed deal. I'd hope for Konerko to hit the hell out of the ball the next couple months and then the Sox can deal him for good value and spend his money and what they free up losing some other guys on resigning Colon or signing Ponson and then making a run at Tejada. Tejada may be a bit over-rated but having him at short would be awesome. You get a guy that can produce at a position where production is typically limited. You can find guys to whack the s*** out of the ball for cheap..typically (Someone like Brad Fullmer only makes 2 mill) but to get a shortstop to do that is difficult.

David Sanders
He needs a full off-season. I think dasox24 was wanting him to pitch like he did last season in winterball. Right now I won't have him pitching until he comes back in spring training. And yep LDF, it was us who had that debate and we were right. I hate seeing pitchers get used that much because they really need a rejuvanating period for their arm to get better. Right now I'm scared out of my mind for Marte. The Sox need another reliever up here that Manuel can trust and stat. Having Wunsch back is huge, but a 3rd left would be very nice. Munoz will never be a starter.
