Edgar grounds right back to the pitcher so it goes to the bottom of the ninth tied up.

Boone gets real lucky. After battling pitch after pitch at 1-2 and their is a high breaking ball that the Royals wanted and he didn't call it. Carrasco on the very next pitch drops it down sideways and strikes out Boone. Damn steroid bum. Edgar is now up. Come on Edgar

Wild pitch and the runner takes 3rd. Runners on the corners now with one out.

Tie game. Pop up behind second to Febles and the runner scores. Febles couldn't find the ball and it dropped. One out and runners on 1st and 2nd. McClemore slammed his bat and didn't even think he did anything.

Seattle is gonna win and the Sox are gonna be 6 back...I can feel it...
  7. Lets make it 6 after today Monroe grounds out softly to Graffy who had to hurry but makes the play. Young stranded after the double Still 4-0 Sox
  8. How many back are we?
  9. Carlos Pena flies out to left. Two outs and Young still on 2nd. Monroe at the plate.
  10. Loaiza strikes out Kevin Witt (One down runner on 2nd). Carlos Pena at the plate. ss2k3, never heard the distance, but it had to be around 440.
  11. On Dmitri's double the ball got stuck in the fence and Maggs had to pick it out of there.
  12. A few weeks ago it was Buehrle now him. Is Koch next? Colon is next. Koch is never. Sox could use the two of them back.
  13. He can still get it 94 or so, so if he can imrpove his secondary pitches and fix his mechanics up, then I think he could be sucessful. Dmitri Young has a leadoff double.
  14. Still, Koch, Marte, and Gordon....Thats NASTY if they are all on
  15. Jose does what he does best, a high pop up and he's gone. Inning over put the Sox score 2 runs. 4-0 Sox
  16. A few weeks ago it was Buehrle now him. Is Koch next?
  17. Crede goes with an outside pitch and hits it to the 2nd baseman who turns the DP. Lee to 3rd. Now we have OLE OLE OLE (Aka Jose)
  18. Konerko rips a single and its 4-0 Sox with runners on 1st and 2nd. Now we get Mean Joe Crede at the plate . Come on Joe, think short-compact swing
  19. Carlos pops it up to the catcher, but the catcher(wallbeck) and Pena collide so Carlos gets another chacne. Come on Carlos, get Maggs to 3rd, otherwise your at bat is a failure. YeSSS, Carlos with a squib single (Maggs had to wait to see if the ball was catchable) and we got runners on 1st and 3rd for my favorite PK, Paulie Konerko
  20. How good would the rotation look with him here.
  21. Maggs rips it down the line and it paints the chalk (left field line at the track) and Maggs was almost caught spectating (As DJ said) and he was almost gunned down at 2nd. Great play by Dmitri, Sox got lucky. Damn that was close. Maggs, nice hit, but next time hustle.
  22. How up to date is your Kip stat thing on your sig. I'm wondering how he only has 7 decisions. He must get a lot of games blown because of his relief.
  23. Frank rips one way back to left center and it was about 15 rows back. Thats number 398 and its 3-0 SOX

Neither. Wagner still throws 98 MPH or so while Hoffman was always a changeup-fastball pitcher and he never depended on a hard fastball. He was at his prime 94 MPH and now is 90 and I've never heard anything about that. I'd love to see Koch become as good as Wagner or Hoffman though.
  25. Alright, I'm letting you take over
