As long as he doesn't inherit any base runners. I remember Marte letting quite a few ducks score when he came in with RISP. He was much better though when coming in to start an inning or when no runners were ISP. Thats the truth. I remember Baggs and his rules on bringing in Marte. They were right on the money.

The signature is what appears at the bottom of the post, I assume you already know that though. If you just want words in the signature then just hit control panel on the message boards, then hit edit profile and go all the way down to the bottom where it says signature and fill in the info. If you have a picture on the comoputer that you'd like to use as your sig, just attach it on a post and I'll upload it from the site and set you up. Now for getting an avatar here are the instructions, much easier to do. First make a post, an go down into the attachment and attach the photo you would like to use(Thats if its coming off of your computer) After you attach it and make the post, then go back to the post and right click on the photo and hit properties and copy the url. If you are pulling it from another website, then simply right click on the picture and hit properties and copy the url of it. Once you have done either one of the instructions above then go into control panel on the message boards. Then hit edit profile and simply drop in the link in the avatar section.

I'd like to see us sign a free agent pitcher, but I'm open to all things as long as I like them! Remember, Dombrowski built a great Marlins farm system and got them that one world series championship.

If you have a picture that you want to use, you just enter the url of it and then put an after it. And still no talks whatsoever in LA of Frank Thomas. I haven't heard the name mentioned once, other then by me.

Just imagine he was pitching after a major surgery and he only got better as the season went on and he seemed to be regaining his hard heater as the season went on.

Does that mean Schueler isn't getting hired as the general manager and that they will just handle the duties? Kind of like what the Bears did for so long when they had Hatley, the VP of PLayer Personell or whatever the position was, instead of calling him a gm? I know the papers were all reporting Ron, but the longer and longer its been without an announcement had me wondering.

Ya, we outrighted Barcelo at the end of the season and I don't think we are considering bringing him back. To be honest, I don't even think he wants to play anymore.

Ya, I remember the first time I figured it out. Mark had some great threads with some pics of minor leaguers and he really stumped most of us. Mark...you aught to dig up some more ones for the slower parts of the offseason. I don't care what he looks like as long as he keeps developing and lives up to his potential.

Part of me wants Lee staying here, but I suspect that if Thomas is here Carlos isn't and hey I can't complain with either cause I think they both have good to great years next season.
