Now if we could land Rich Rodriguez of the Angels, done deal. I'd do that straight up any day of the year cause he's that amazing. Other then that I'd try to add two arms to our bullpen for Foulke or use Foulke to land us a quality starter. A package of Foulke and Lee or Foulke and Manos could be pretty good at bringing in a good starter as well as clearing salary to make a splash on the free agent market as well.

Here's a question, what if we bring Ray Ray back. I've heard him talk and he says he still loves playing in Chicago and would really like coming back and playing for the Sox and is definately open to the idea. The question is if is willing to come back at around Manos's price and we can find a taker for Manos why not make the move putting Jimenez at short. To me it would be a great move, just one the Sox wouldn't make.

I'd love Maddux or Clemens. Roger isn't a true ace anymore in my book, but he's still a gamer, in awesome shape, and can help our staff out a ton.

Welcome aboard, its great to keep seeing more and more people make the journey over here. It should be a fun off-season, especially cause we all know the Sox are going to land that ace pitcher, or at least #2 pitcher. I just hope it isn't another Todd Rithcie

Your forgetting the best player on all of their teams and thats AJ Burnett and Javier Vazquez is also great.

I think Rauch just has so much poise and control that he's the type of pitcher that will have sucess in the majors from the get go. He will only get better but its guys that know how to pitch that don't get themselves into jams with walks, etc that will really make great starts. Then theirs guys like Kip and Garland who make mistakes that take a lot more time to develop.

Whatever happend in the past is just that. We are all Sox fans here talking Sox baseball so whatever your story was, make a new one if you want or whatever because the slate is clean here and were just going to all have fun as the site continues to grow as we get more awesome Sox fans here. :metal

I would of had Scott in too. Schoenweiss has done good and Spiez should of made the play. THe key all comes down to Weber. What a freakin bum. 2 walks with 2 outs and no on one. Thats what you get you dumbass. Then the ump sucked calling a strike on that 3-0 pitch to Eckstein. They would of had 1st and 2nd with nobody out. Oh well the Angels blew it and stranded a ton of runners.

Good question. In Borchards case its a definate no because we are deep in the outfield. For Olivo I just am real tempted. I think he's near ready and with him the key is simply bat speed as well as getting bigger and those things don't get taught in AAA they just come naturally. If we had some depth behind the plate I wouldn't complain. Then again, Ausmus would be a great pickup for a season to start, then middle of the year have Olivo up to learn a whole lot.

Also one huge thing has to be the Expos. Their attendance mixed with the Marlins and Drays probably single-handedly brought attendance down 6%. Someone should come up with something and remove those teams and then see what the change is.

Big reason is, if I start yapping now and they lose, man I'd hear it even more.
