Shane Reynolds?
I think Reynolds had more of a back injury then an arm injury. Yep, you are right though, they do need a full season, heck even Curt Schilling needed a full season.

thomas question
I don't think they do it, but as I say this i also think things could change and they will pull it. If the question is keeping Frank and his salary or dumping him and picking up a starting pitcher, then to me they have to invoke it.

Keith Closes
If we deal Foulke to the Yanks, I want Mendoza in return or one of their top notch outfield prospects and a pitching prospect.

Crede article
Owl, it will be interested what Joe can do during a full season. Will teams figure him out or will he keep getting better. Maybe he'll have a Pujols like first season.

Today's Game Thread
The game will be on WGN at 1:05 central time against the Boston Red Sox. Its the rubber game of the series. Josh Hancock will go up against Danny Wright. Hancock has pitched 2 major league innings and this will be his first major league start. If anyone can update this for the start of the game I'd appreciate it, cause I'll be in class. Thanks

Crede article
Thats fine. As long as we only quote the article and not use the article in its full form. I called up a friend of the family whose a copyright attorney and he told me that we shouldn't post a full article, but just a quote or a link. This way we don't get in trouble with the law cause I'd hate to see MLB come after us.

Nice Article in ISU Newspaper...More publicity like this is
Nope, the Mariners aren't eliminated yet. They need a M's loss or one more Angel win.

Shane Reynolds?
He's been out most of the season with an injury, but he's gonna be 100% for next year and is a damn good pitcher and a great leader. I'd imagine he'd have a cheaper price tag then Maddux or Clemens so I'd think that the Sox may end up consider someone like him. Personally I'd take him cause he's a lot better then what we got on the most part.

Has JM Figured It Out?
Has he finally realized that Matt Ginter blows? I have to say, I'm real glad I haven't seen Ginter pitch in a while or at least it seems like he hasn't been in there during the past week at least. He now joins Jim Parque on the "not gonna be used" portion of the bench.

Thank goodness I don't have to read all this biased stuff everyday in the paper. I just get to read about the Dodgers and Angels, who may I add could pull another huge huge choke if they don't win today, cause their final 3 are against the Mariners.

Big Game For Biddle Tonight
I can live with that if the top of the line pitcher is really a top of the line pitcher. I like Rauch a ton and really think he's ready, but we all know injuries will happen and at some point Rauch will be up and once he comes up, then I want him up for good. Still, I say let Rauch, Ritchie and Biddle fight for the final slot, if Rauch loses, then he goes to AAA, if he wins then the other two go to the pen.

If you were Jose Hernandez...
Yep think of it this way, would you rather be Royce or Jose. Well, I'd have to say Royce cause he's getting Millions for not doing a damn thing, but a couple years from now, when the game is all set and done, I wouldn't mind joking around saying I set the strikeout record.

Big Game For Biddle Tonight
I'm sure it's sore. I bet even the best are sore after they pitch the day before. But Biddle has made his last 3-4 starts in the rotation so hopefully it isn't anything to do with last years surgery..... just soreness and tightness after throwing 70-80 pitches (not including warm-ups), some in the mid-90's. Oh ya, its good soreness imo. Its the soreness of his muscles building and his stamina growing. This offseason him and all our starters should do craploads of running because leg strength is the key to going deep into games. Well of course you have to pitch good too.

Suntimes article
To me Jimenez, just looks like a ball player. He hustles, slaps the ball, makes contact, has a great eye, he's kind of like a throw back player in my books, because get this, he actually has some fundementals and knows how to play the game.

Big Game For Biddle Tonight
Still, when your playing for nothing and that guy, Rauch, is coming back from an injury then you got to be careful. You can't just say hey, go the distance when your arm hasn't pitched that long in 3 weeks. Wright, Garland, and Buerhle all can go deep into games as can Ritchie, now we'll have to develop Biddle and Rauch into being able to do the same.

Interesting stat
Cooper is a great pitching coach. He stepped away from being all mechanicl and worked on their mental approach which is helping this guys a ton. 90% of the game is mental and now our pitchers are finally starting to realize it.

We all know about Pitching, but what else
I think and hope Harris can grow a lot during winter ball and win the second base job, pushing Jimenez to short. I'd loving having them two and their incredible speed at the top of the lineup or with Jimenez one, Rowand two and Harris 9 cause then after one time through the lineup then you have a Harris and Jimenez speed combination again.

Crede article
Thats fine. I think as long as you give the papers name where you got it from the the author then you don't have to worry too much, but thats just my assumption, I'll have to actually go figure it out. Anyway, I don't care what Crede says cause I just don't think he was ready or would of made the impact that he has as quick as he has. Now he is ready and he's doing awesome.

What can we do next yr
Lets Compare the Lineups Twins Jacque Jones-lf Christian Guzman-ss Torri Hunter-cf David Ortiz-DH Corey Koskie-3rd Mientkevitz-1st Kielty or Mohr-rf Pyrzinksi-c Rivas-2nd Thats kind of what its like, but they do change it up at times. White Sox Jimenez-2nd Manos-ss Thomas-DH Maggs-rf Konerko-1st Caballo-lf Crede-3rd Rowand-cf Olivo-c Imo, our lineup is a whole lot better, of course offense isn't the only part of the game. Defensively they are damn good, but I think we are pretty good defensively, especially if Harris is playing 2nd and Jimenez is at short. The pitching is definately what it comes down to next season. Whoever is better, wins, no questions asked and I think that will be us.

Female or Shemale
I was kind of the same way. I didn't want to go, oh that chicks hot and then end up finding out it was a guy. I kept thinking they were trying to trick me.

hey jason......quick question for ya....
I'm working on creating a new custom chatroom using codes that should be ready for the start of next season, but if I learn like I should it could be up near Christmas time cause I'm going to try to get a lot done during my break.

Matthew
Are you able to login ok right now? I noticed that you are surfing the boards so I'm hoping that means everything is working good now.

Foulke and marte
Thats great, they both have pitched lights out. I hope they are both around next year cause when you team those two up with Glover and Osuna thats a nasty foursome.
