When posters talk about the Knicks S&T for Melo and how we could lose to Houston because they could offer Harden, everyone needs to remember that Melo is going to pick where he wants to go and then the Knicks can decide, will we do a S&T or not. The Knicks aren't in a position to force him to Houston so the fact that Houston would offer more in a S&T really doesn't matter as Knicks basically have options of accepting something or nothing from the team he choses.

However, if we can get a point, awesome, although our best chance is a draw / Portugal win. We are in trouble if Ghana wins as I don't think we are going to score and thus would lose the tiebreaker due to total goals scored. Come on...lets advance

This thread was never intended to be encompassing of rumors (and to that point, there haven't been any major rumors that I am aware of) so speculation regarding players, etc, should be in separate threads.
