He loves Chicago and never asked to leave. It may not have worked but he wasn’t going anywhere and was ready to recruit. Whether Gar Pax wound have succeeded or he would have blown up a year later I don’t know, but he didn’t want out.

The hell with all of you all that were on board with moving Jimmy Buckets. Jesus is he fun to watch and just a total dude!!!

Are the 2023 White Sox the worst Sox team you've ever seen?

Someone should hire Ricky - maybe he was an all time genius. His players clearly liked him and liked playing for him. But no excuses - this is on the front office. -
Maybe we need to get a billboard but man they have to clean house and start over. Period.

I have largley thought this was a prove it year for Hanh. He blamed everything on TLR, which I'm guessing upset JR, but we know JR and loyalty. He wasn't given any extra payroll for a reason - I think it was - you said it was X, go prove it was that and not your poor roster construction (and I'm guessing TLR probably quietly would have made his piece to JR, regardless, on his concerns, around player development, roster construction, etc. At this point - I could see KW retiring (not sure when his contract is over) and Rick getting the axe. I know everyone is saying Getz is next, but I wonder if JR would actually go an outside route. I know he doesn't like the Astros - but could his son will some influence on this and they bring in former Astros GM (1% chance) or some form of a true outsider to try and start from scratch. If for nothing else - make that investment now leading into a potential sale of the franchise. JR is stubborn and loyal though, but he can't be happy with how this is going. He's also patient - so I don't see it happening immediately but if you are going to do it and they are still sub .500 by end of May and showing no signs of life, even for JR, that has to be time. It is sad how apathetic of an owner he seems to be and how accepting he has been of consistent, substandard poor performance from the leaders of his organization.

Hell yeah!!!

The development side of the org is welcome to take some credit for Kopech, but the side that actually brings talent in gets no credit for that. I view it as we have not drafted many players who have went on to do much anything. That is a problem.

I don't count Lambert or Martin as neither are veyr good. So Rodon is the only guy we drafted and developed and he was a super high draft pick. That is downright pathetic. I am ignoring fact that Bassit and the other guy we dealt to the A's ended up being decent, so they count in the 10 year window....but man thats a lot of nothing, not even finding some decent relievers. The Sox biggest problem isn't what they have done in free agency, don't get me wrong, it hasn't been great...but it is in how poor they have been in either the drafting and/or player development front (reality is both). Just putrid.

Getting Crochet and Hendricks back will be huge for the pen, whenever that happens…hopefully in May.

At least bats are doing their thing! 20 runs in 2 games

April Fools Joke White Sox DFA Jake Diekman

He is far worse than Ruiz who just got cut. -
Just another sign for how poor this org is - top to bottom from a front office and talent development perspective. No ability to bring up even some quality young relievers. It’s just crazy.

Absolutely awesome news!!!

I’ll take it!!!

Heck of a start - don’t stop now boys!

This is awesome news!!! Hope everything stays awesome on the Hendricks front!!! Continued thoughts and prayers and well wishes!!!

He should have been allowed to die in the booth. He was the man. A true legend who I miss calling Sox games. A true fan of the team and one of the last announcers who felt like they were literally part of your family given how long you listened to them call games over the years.

Got mine applied to my account today. Another free year of MLB.tv thanks Tmobile. Love it.

Ridiculous. Lol

Yeah - I see zero reason why a non-contender would give Leury at bats. I kind of see a scenario where someone wants depth that is a decent team and leverages him, likely after some injuries impact their squad and than he has to hope he starts hot out of the gate in that utility role and thus gets himself a job. I wonder if he'll ultimately accept assignment back with the Sox (or if that was even an option).

Zach LaVine post All-Star numbers: 29.1 ppg, 4.5 apg, 3.6 RPG, 54% FG, 46% 3pt The Bulls aren't going to blow this up, but they should retool and I'd do it around Zach. See if you can get younger and better fits - Derozan in a 3 way and than I have no earthly idea what you can do with Vuc in a S&T to free up other options. Maybe Vuc stays, I don't know. I do know you need to surround Zach with a good PG and solid defenders. If the Bulls could just maintain and get a good PG - than awesome, we know at that point this is at least an above average team - problem is Derozan and Vuc are also on the wrong side of 30, so I don't like over-leveraging into a team that has more long term downside than upside (and the upside is pretty limited anyway - even as i describe above - they stay status quo and land a good PG, I don't think they are a title contender - but they are probably a pretty good team).

I'll be at the game tonight. Would be stellar if they had an A performance and pulled out a win
