  1. Hargraves off the board too. 4yr 80M. Will be interesting to see how the Bears pivot - cause I have to think they are getting a bit more nervous now.
  2. Bears still in on Okereke as a WLB; seperately - Bmags guy, Ben Powers headed to Denver.
  3. His stats were fantastic last year - obviously was surrounded by a lot of talent but total contract was very reasonable. 12M guaranteed over 3 years. Evidently they are going hard after McGlinchey and Jones (although I think Jones is headed to Browns). I'd like one more LB - this is a deep FA class and you can probably get two really good ones for the price of one Roquan Smith (maybe even a little less). I feel like if they can't get Jones - they will pivot to Hargraves though.
  4. If they move one of Mooney or Claypool - than I'll take the wideout, otherwise I really can't see how you can take a wideout. Feels like one of the offensive tackles is where they go - or top dlinemen remaining.
  5. I want Broncos tackle, one of the right tackles, and Edwards (Bills lb is still pretty young).
  6. He’s very good - so I have no issue. Him or the tackles or a trade down and Bijan.
  7. They have a 2nd rounder - it is a pretty early one.
  8. This is fair and I am not arguing either. Overall I am happy with the outcome. Not elated but happy. Solid move.
  9. For the record - I would have preferred getting the Panthers other 2nd (plus the one we already got) and a 2025 1st vs Moore. I’d than take my chances on finding a wideout and having the shot at getting two blue chip players in next two years on rookie deals with those high end picks. Hindsight 20/20 - do this trade and don’t do the Claypool trade but revisionist history.
  10. I believe Moore gets you a #1 - so I think this actually is 3 #1's. I recall teams offering that last season and I don't imagine his rate would have changed between than and now.
  11. Moore signed his deal before the FA wr market blew up last year. They got him at a 25 percent plus discount of what he would get if he were a ufa this offseason.
  12. I do think DJ Moore is a good fit for Fields. Good route runner - creates seperation. If Mooney is back to healthy with Claypool and Kmet that is a way better receiving corps. Good speed, plus some size. Velus as a gadget guy and ESB as a depth piece. Seperately - get an explosive running back, upgrade line, and this offense is much better on paper than where they started last year. And if Fields doesn’t work - you have 2 frp next year to turn into your next qb.
  13. Ideally they could have squeezed the Panthers earlier 2nd rounder.
  14. Yeah - I knew he signed but didn’t realize bears were on hook for such a reasonable deal.
  15. I wanted more…but probably because I am undervaluing DJ Moore in sense I would like one wideout on a rookie scale deal Vs now we have 3 who all want to be paid. That said - they have cap space and this clearly gives Fields way more options.
  16. He is wiry, athletic and his swing is sweet. He looked every bit of the part when I saw him take BP (stood out). Obviously small sample size - but that swing was pretty. Of course I said the same thing the first time I saw Ryan Sweeney too haha.
  17. f*** cancer. Hope your buddy gets good news.
  18. Love it - Waiting for it - someone please bump this on the 28th so I don't forget.
  19. 162 games a year vs. 17 games a year (regular season). If NBA games went 3:20 to 3:30 on a regular basis I'd have an issue with that too.
  20. Monty is a good dude and relatively durable. But he is the very definition of a JAG. They need to find better and shouldn't tie up money in that position for that sort of player. At this point - I'd rather go a Bijan Robinson or high upside RB and take a chance there (especially if they can get multiple picks) and really elevate the skill position spots vs. a Monty who just hasn't been 3 dimensional enough. Now if they decide to defer - fine - but they better still use a late round pick on a back, cause Ebner isn't it.
  21. Taylor is interesting because he wasn't very good early in his career, but he was also extremely young. Last season he was significantly improved - so are you getting someone making a real jump or did Lawrenece help him out, etc. Either way - I like Taylor's age and upside vs. the others. But I also go back to - just pay Brown LT money and put him at RT. He was a mauler there and I presume would be a fit under any scheme's. IF he wasn't - I don't think Biggs would have had a whole write-up on Brown, but I also get that scheme does matter. But I do think they make an upgrade at RT and if they are getting future 1st's - they see what Jones can do with a full offseason. He clearly has good athletic ability so he doesn't seem like someone who will has a low ceiling.
  22. He was the kindest player at spring training the day I was there too. Why try and pick a fight and not appreciate Tim is one of the better hitters and shortstops to play and brings a ton of energy. I hope he kills it this year and we are talking about Tim for MVP.
  23. We have a new manager and it’s a new season. Let’s see real change and get back on the right trajectory.
  24. It may be the going rate - but they are going nowhere with Geno. If you want to have a middle of the pack QB - make sure they are cheap.
