See if you can get younger and better fits - Derozan in a 3 way and than I have no earthly idea what you can do with Vuc in a S&T to free up other options. Maybe Vuc stays, I don't know. I do know you need to surround Zach with a good PG and solid defenders. If the Bulls could just maintain and get a good PG - than awesome, we know at that point this is at least an above average team - problem is Derozan and Vuc are also on the wrong side of 30, so I don't like over-leveraging into a team that has more long term downside than upside (and the upside is pretty limited anyway - even as i describe above - they stay status quo and land a good PG, I don't think they are a title contender - but they are probably a pretty good team).

And really only if he completely goes ham would you want to sign him after this upcoming season. You would just pick up his 5th year option and than negotiate from there (knowing you have 2 franchise tags). The only reason you start negotiating now (as in after this upcoming season) is if you have seen so much that you believe he is a true bonafide superstar (meaning we just went to like the NFC Championship and he had like 40 TD's etc). At that point - go ahead and pay him cause you'd rather ink that extension now vs. wait another 2 years for the QB market to be even richer.

Jaylon Johnson, Kmet, and Mooney are at least 3 options. Claypool as well - although i presume they wouldn't want to extend him at this point (just yet).

I got to have baseball convos around my office and kept hearing people talk about it - and no one around my office talks this stuff. Was great for the game and just a heck of a lot of fun. Part of this goes back to me - baseball season is just too damn long.

They need a rb who can catch the ball. Right now they have none. Fields needs to be able to take advantage of easy plays and giving him a good rb outlet who can catch and pass protect is important. Foreman is none of those things. He is more like Herbert - who I like, but we don’t need two. They still have a need in draft for one who can hopefully be a bit more dynamic.

What surgery is it that will have that long of a recovery time or is this one of those - they know he is toast so they are just going to assume he is out next year.

They have to get cap relief for this right?

What I wonder is how much is the other non football stuff effecting him. For all we know he had been nervous as can be for past few weeks post the law news. If so - can see that as a reason you aren’t yourself. Or it could be as you all say - but I see just as likely scenario as the above. Kid did a kid thing. Stupid yes, lucky sure, but It doesn’t make him a monster - that said - he got caught and is in a big mess because of it. For a normal human being - I would think you would be a mess (lack of sleep, focus, etc until you get some resolution).

Go sign Brown Jr to a contract like Mcglinchey got and make him your RT. Draft Bijan or Dline with first pick than draft another guard / te / late round qb / lots of defense.

Buckner could be had. Plus you have guys like Van Ness or a Carter in the draft. Options aren’t as bleak as we think and we can go cheaper at RT and than invest one of 2nd rounders in one of the tackles too. So go dline round 1, one of round 2 on tackle, maybe other on center or a rb/te/db?

Walker is at least a solid move and it doesn't bust the cap at all. I will say Jacobi Myers ended up getting a lot less than I expected (maybe the wideout market has cooled down a bit). That Myer contract should help a bit in terms of Mooney (I hope). Cause Mooney isn't Moore.

Pretty nice - they also need cap space for any extensions they will give (i.e., Kmet / Mooney / etc).
