  1. It’s interesting - I personally think you can get a beat writer to cover multiple teams. Might actually mean they ask tougher questions cause they are less dependent on one franchise. That said - you will absolutely lose a bit on the nuggets that can come up on the fly when you aren’t in the clubhouse every road trip/every game. Still rotate every other or something and you can still do it and get pretty damn good coverage. Above is pure business - with that said - Fegan is great and I hope he lands on his feet quickly. sucks that our favorite baseball franchise is so damn irrelevant.
  2. Good news. Hopefully it’s more like spring training soreness and just a small blip in his incredible comeback season.
  3. Jimenez was hammering the ball In bp today. Him and Burger were two guys I saw who showed easy power. Sheets is warning track power in bp. I didn’t see Roberts take bp, but presume he also has plenty of power. Yoan should be traded if they can. Don’t care how good his d is. I give up on him. He will crush it when he goes to a good org but it ain’t happening with Sox.
  4. The reality is - I don't think there is a huge correlation here. Guys should be able to run it out, period. You coach it in little league, you coach it in high school, it is coached in college...yet in the pro's we just stop doing it. I don't buy it and guys should do it across the board. Its like load management - I don't see a strong correlation between the guys who do load management and them being health(ier). If anything it seems like in the NBA those are the same guys who are constantly hurt. I do think you need rest - but that is what off days are for, etc. But if you consistently don't do it and than on a play where you need to you put on the gas - that is how I actually think an injury will happen (cause you are excerpting yourself in a way that your body is not used to / trained for).
  5. Bulls are going to be interesting this offseason - seems like pretty good chance at a minimum a soft reset and maybe more. Would be a good sign if they take those steps.
  6. Every once in a while the ads go funky for a day or two; I'll look into it later tonight. Remember though - having ads helps cover the overall cost and ensure the site always remains free (which I have said for 20+ years and continue to reiterate - this place will always be FREE).
  7. I still go back to how much I wanted him on the Bulls all the year(s) ago. Obviously wouldn't have worked out, but he really was a darn good player for a long time. Defense a challenge - but he could score.
  8. Tim is one of the only fun things about this franchise yet haters gonna hate.
  9. The warriors would absolutely say yes.
  10. I already circled the bears chargers Sunday night game as the game the bears become contenders haha. That said - that is a perfect night for my kids to see their first pro football game.
  11. Bulls…now it is your turn to complete the trifecta. Win the lottery and get the #1 pick too!
  12. Kopech will find a way to make this interesting.
  13. He literally threw like six pitches without following through on any of them - basic little leaguers have better mechanics.
  14. Kopech displaying some horrific mechanics on the mound and than follows it with a bonehead play in the field.
  15. I am Mr. Positive. I have zero hope for this team or this franchise at this point. I really think it will take an ownership change at this point as I think the stench is so deep in this org. The wrong standard, the wrong bar, the wrong money invested in the wrong things. Just awful. With that said - a total clean house with a complete new voice could theoritically change things. And whomever the front office is - should know going into it what JR's guidelines for payroll are - and than optimize your roster under those standards. Don't pretend somehow you are going to be something you aren't.
  16. The linebacker - I get it, we need special teams guys.
  17. First pick I don’t really like. No issue with the player just prefer something different positional wise. That said special teams is important.
  18. Bears trading down with Saints. Picking up a 5th plus moving down like 13 spots in this round.
  19. I not opposed to going Ringo. Depending on what knee injury is - dude is big and fast for a DB and Georgia has had quite a few good dbs come out lately, most recently the Seahawks 5th rounder last year who ended up a pro bowler. Can never have enough corners in this league. Decided I will punt on center. Whitehair is good enough and try again next year or wait until one more round.
  20. I like the positions they have been focused on. Curious to see what they do to start tomorrow. OSU center could be a good fit, same with the Texas RB and their are still a couple more dlinemen if you want to triple down. I do want them to grab a developmental qb at some point too.
  21. Haha at Orsay. That said - I don’t like the idea of Bears reportedly looking to move up. I think price would be too strap - even though a Porter would be pretty good value or if they had their eye on a plus dlinemen - the bears just can’t afford to do it. I would prefer they make one move slightly back with one of the picks and end up with maybe 4 picks today instead of 3. 1 olineman, 2 dlinemen, and a db/rb/te.
  22. Today I'm expecting they go Center and 2 dlinemen, although I could see them surprise us with a safety / db if they liked them.
  23. I think they were hoping for Paris - Cardinals did amazing today by the way. When Paris was gone - wright was the right guy and while I personally would have taken Carter I get it.
  24. Any interest in a trade back with Washington that involved Chase Young? No idea if that is realistic or not and obviously you are buying into him being healthier and playing to his natural talent level with Bears. Allows you a potential high end DE while still grabbing a pretty good tackle, although more likely you are grabbing at RT at that spot. A lot of smoke out there that Carter is who Bears will grab and I tend to agree - if they stay at 9, I think they are taking a Dlineman, if they move down, I think its an OT. With all that said - I have zero issue taking Paris at 9 (if he is there). With all that said - I still say 10% chance they grab the top DB and we are all left shocked. My gut says our FRP will be an OT as I don't see one of the top Dlinemen being there.
