Yea, I saw this earlier this morning. Actually, it's a good article. For all the stupid things Ozzie does, the man wants to win. I don't think anyone can take that way from him. I also think that he was more or less toying with Mr. Passan, but that's neither here nor there. The quote about the Kentucky Derby was a classic, though, and it's so true.

I understand that Ozzie makes the final decisions... which is fine by me. He just gets s*** on whether he does a or b no matter what, because there are too many self-professed geniuses posting around here.

I'm sure this is a "shallow" victory to you Democrats out there. I've already seen one blog that said the only reason this is happening is for him to avoid some sort of trial. OH THE CONSPIRACY! OH OH OHHHHH... He's gone. Now let it go.

Look, it's not that Ozzie doesn't make mistakes. Far from it. But f***ing EVERY DAY we see the same second hand "outguess the manager" AFTER the game is over. Baseball is a game of strategy and odds. Ozzie plays the odds more often then not, but yet, when he plays it "conservative" to try to give his veterans on the club a chance to do their job, we get this s*** day in and day out and on and on and on and on. Again, he's not perfect. But he certainly has a lot more sense then 99.% of you f***s on this board and that includes me. To b**** about it EVERY DAY shows the shallowness of a lot of people. It's a GAME for cripes sake.

I just don't want to see Uribe on this team after this season. I've seen enough from him in the past two years. As far as Fields, he's not a SS either.
