TIFWIW. That is what I have read up on steriods as doing, and it is why pitchers get caught with it a lot. They need their muscles rebuilt quicker so that they can go out and throw again without much loss of performance. That was/is (one of) my main point(s).

Then, it has this effect, then it doesn't. I'm not saying that you don't know what you're talking about in some aspects, but when you say that is simply false FOR MOST ATHLETES.
