  1. FOX has to be sobbing larger then life right about now - because their ratings just went right in the s***ter.
  2. I'm telling you, they will find a way to pull a rabbit out of their ass. We need to be READY. I hope they are scouting the crap out of this game and all the others on tape before this game.
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 02:05 AM) Who are you talking about? Krod? No, Santana. Usually pitchers like this kill us. Didn't he kick our ass earlier in the year?
  4. And if the Spankees can't hit him, could we?
  5. All around I agree that LAA's pitchers are better then the Spankees - up until Rivera. Someone who has some time, what is our splits like this year against K-Rod.
  6. I wonder just how bad Colon is? If he's not able to go at all, we have a BIG advantage in pitching. Still, K-ROD makes me nervous. If we're ahead enough in the series, hopefully we don't have to see him much.
  7. I'm telling you, we aren't going to just win automatically. The team will be better then Boston was game 1. At least you'd think so.
  8. Whoever advances will certainly have some adrenaline tomorrow night though coming off the win tonight.
  9. Debits and Credits usually mess up people when they are used to thinking about it in terms of their own checkbooks. Eventually it starts making sense if you look at it beyond that. So is it still 3-2 LAA?
  10. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 01:24 AM) Yeah, keep telling me that. I've had a few accounting classes in my time. Certified Pain in the Ass here.
  11. At least I have a PC here and can somewhat keep up.
  12. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 01:21 AM) Im salivating at the prospect of facing Jared Wright but I think in the long run we're better off facing the Angels and their decimated staff. KROD and/or Rivera is not the pitchers you want to come back against. We need to jump out every single game. That's for sure.
  13. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 01:20 AM) I suppose I could have been more clear. Just watching the play develop was like watching a car accident you see coming. Sorry you are in class Kap. no problem. ya'll are gonna have to be my eyes and ears for a while.
  14. well, traveling is not pretty. and whoever wins has to come back 2/3's of the way across the country. man, i hope JC's ready tomorrow.
  15. oh, thanks Nuke, now I know what SFF meant. Sitting in stupid Stats class going through lecture of statistical sampling. UGH.
  16. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 01:17 AM) HAHAHAHAHAH Now there's a productive post.
  17. Agree, because both staffs are having to use everything to even advance. I'm glad our rotation is set, let's hope that the Sox rotation is crisp after the layoff.
  18. i'm not talking tonight. i'm talking longer term. it seems to me even if they take the punch tonight and get by the spankees, then they are going to have a hard time against us, if fartolo colon is out.
  19. wow. laa is in trouble, even if they get by this round. nyy seems to be getting their swagger back. that's not good for us.
  20. Congrats! Finishing ANY marathon is cool as hell. When you see that finish line, there's nothing like it, I don't care if your time is 2 hours :05 or 7 hours :05. I ran the Disney marathon in 1999, that was a pretty cool marathon, running in all the Disney theme parks.
  21. QUOTE(Soxfest @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 10:19 PM) R.Justice of the Houston Chronicle and TK were both whining if the Yankees do not win tonight they should move Angels/White Sox to HSN network because no one will watch. TK cannot accept the fact Red Sox/Yankees will not happen.Justice claims Angels are best team in AL. I laugh at the fact White sox are so disrespected on to the World Series EITHER the Angels or the Spankmees are a VERY formidable opponent for different reasons. The Angels, IMO, are a LOT more formidable. We will have a battle on our hands with the Angels. The only edge I see is our rotation being set, versus theirs being used to get here.
  22. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 10:04 PM) Speak for yourself. I need to put my A HOLE avatar back to match my tagline - but I can't get rid of the Rally Crede - superstition and all.
  23. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 09:49 PM) Thing of it is about 99.99999% of the people here are die hard White Sox fans so me and the other more , uh, aggressive posters simply give voice on the boards to what most of us are thinking/saying when they watch the game at home. The people I work with are from all over the place and thusly I see fans of most every other team. Most of the time its pretty civil but there is certainly a fair share of smack talking........like theres gonna be tomorrow with this one guy in my squad from Boston. Thats the best 20 bucks I ever won in a bet. HAHA! I guess that just proves all the media hounds right, we're all a bunch of asshole fans.
  24. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 09:13 PM) Im not sure if you played much hockey, but there are certain differences between the way that teams play defense. Bulin was familiar with the way that his old team moved to the puck, covered for each other, etc. He may not be used to the behavior of this new scheme, or the players tendencies either. This may be why he is giving up so many rebounds in bad spots in the crease. The goal is 2 feet closer to the back wall, too, which creates different angles.
