Im sitting in SECTION 127, seats 1, 2, 3, and 4. My buddies from my HS will be in those seats with me. I will be wearing a ROAD - GRAY, JOE BORCHARD 25 Sox Jersey. I'm basically a kid, I'm only sixteen, and I'm only about 5 feet 7 inches. Hollar at me if you see me, I should have my Spring Training Sox cap on. Hope to see a couple of you tommorow! Wooh! 13 and a half hours away!!!

Hmm, If you go to the game, I bet you can get a ticket from a scalper pretty easily. I'm sitting in Section 127, Row 26. I'm going with buddies that go to the same HS as me. LOL, this is funny as hell. I just gained a starting spot on my volleyball team because I kicked this freshman's ass who was playing ahead of me, and now I'm missing practice tommorow. So now, my coach isn't playing me for a while, lol. I really don't care though, I can't wait to see White Sox Baseball at the Cell tommorow! 18 HOURS AWAY!!!

What is he making? Isn't it near 8 or 9 million? I think Pitt would take on his salary if we gave them Rauch and Stewart, or perhaps someone else. I guess it's all based upon opinion - if you think Benson still has it, then you pull the trigger. If you don't and you don't want to give up on Rauch/Stewart, then you stay with what you have. I guess this is all dependent upon how our rotation is doing by mid-July. Maddux hits the leadoff man, and Wilson hits one to the warning track for a double. Runners on second and third, nobody out!

Why, of all people, did Dusty give Sammy Sosa the 'C'? Yeah, he's a real good guy to look up to - a ME first attitude, a cheater, a lyer (sp?), not a team player. Tisk tisk, Cubbies. :headshake

Yeah, I hope we get Kipper back, but I wouldn't be against getting Benson. Benson would be our fourth or fifth starter, so he'd have a lot of pressure taken off. He also has some nice stuff - he's got a pretty good slider, a nice pitch that runs away from lefties (two-seamer?). Does he have a change? Tom Goodwin blows.

Would Kendall be a possibility at the trade deadline? I know he carries a pretty hefty contract, but he's a very underrated player who is continually solid. Last year, he had a .399 OBP with a .325 Batting Average! Thoughts?

Yes, sadly, Im watching the game. Not because I care about the Cubs, I'm actually interested in watching a couple of players on the Pirates - Mainly Kris Benson, I'm interested in seeing him pitch. I also like their SS Wilson, and the catcher Jason Kendall. I hope Benson dominates today.

No, I'd rather have Mags. Mags is a franchise player - consistent, good on defense, great at the plate. He's a superstar - and the only reason he isn't considered a superstar is because he doesn't talk as much as others do. You don't have to worry about Mags getting in trouble... Ill take Mags at 13-15 million, regardless of our prospects in the minors. Why? Because prospects don't always pan out. Mags is everything you can want from a player - resign him, and make him our franchise player.

I've tried Kazaa, and I've tried WinMX. I like Kazaa a lot, but I dont want to download it because it usually gives my computer a ton of ads and it just messes up my computer totally. WinMX is alright, but I never am able to actually download the songs - it usually fails. Do any of you guys know of a provider that has both videos and music, won't mess up my computer, and is pretty good? Thanks.

Is there anyone else here that thinks Jim Hendry got totally hosed on his deal for Juan Cruz? I think he could have gotten something better than Andy Pratt for Cruz - Cruz's stuff is amazing, if he can eventually put it all together, he's going to be awesome.

What's wrong with Adkins so far this season? He earned his spot on the roster, I think he pitched close to 11 or so innings in spring training and gave up like one run. And hasn't he pitched like two or so innings so far this year and not allowed a run? He's earned his spot - damnit, quit being so freaking negative. Our team just split on the road, with arguably the best team in the AL, the Yanks. We were in a position to win five out of the six games we played - one of the games, we were dominated by Vazquez. But we lost one on a pretty freaky incident, in which Marte just was awful. You think that's going to happen in June? Today we lost where our fifth starter went up against their ace, we lose by one, but everything is terrible? IMO, Cotts deserves a shot to start. Even though Wright kept us in the game, if there's someone who can possibly be better than him (Cotts), then you go with the guy who you think gives you a better opportunity to win. I guess that's Ozzie's decision.

This will be my first Opening Day Sox game, so I'm especially exciting.
