  1. I'm going to cry - we can hit the KC pitching staff with ease, even Jose Contreras, but we cannot hit Paul Abbot? Come on!!!!
  2. Carlos Lee, great play. Defense saved Wright's ass, he should get the hook next inning... Wake up guys... WAKE UP!>!>>!>!>!>
  3. We cannot repeat what we did last year. Wow, Line drive double play.... Danny Wright still blows.
  4. News Flash: Hawk loves chilli dogs.
  5. WAKE THE f*** UP! ITS f***ING TAMPA BAY!
  6. Alright, 4-5-6, Thomas, Lee, Konerko. No reason we shouldn't put up a run or two this inning. Thomas and Harris seem to be the only guys on the team with the right idea - you don't need to swing for the fences, just get on base and the HRs will come. They must realize this sometime before 10:00 EST.
  7. What the hell is up with the uppercut swining? You take six out of nine from the Yanks and the Royals, and you throw everything that let you beat them out the window. I have a real bad feeling about this game... I hope I'm wrong... Danny Wright plays a bunt TERRIBLY.. This is awful.
  8. Perez flies out to deep center. 2 Gone.
  9. I hope so, not the way our guys are swinging though right now. They try to hit three run homers with no one on base. Olivo hits a deep flyout to center.
  10. This Sox team just kills me, they KILL me.
  11. Cy Abbott (sp?) with a 1-2-3 inning.
  12. Here comes Danny Graves, possibly, if Kenny feels the need to trade for a closer, our future closer. EDIT: DANNY GRAVES BLOWS! :fyou
  13. Can someone describe what happened earlier? Dusty submitted an illegal lineup or something, went berserk, and the bleacher bums threw garbage onto the field? Wow, stupid play by Ramirez, makes a pretty good play on a hard hit ball, takes his time, throws to second and the guy is safe.
  14. Hmm, this would be something really cool to do. Journalism is the major I'm looking into, since I'm only 16. However, the only thing I can really get into writing about is sports related things. I cannot write anything else but about sports, so that kind of sucks because my High School paper really doesn't deal a lot with sports. It was kind of cool though, I wrote an article on the Marlins vs Cubs playoff series, and the teacher who runs the newspaper said it was a one of the better sports articles she's read. Let me know if you ever need help, hopefully Sox-related, Molto. I'd just like to have an outside opinion on whether I'm good at this or not. Thanks, and again, let me know if help is ever needed, Molto.
  15. I really like the Reds lineup, especially if Griffey is smack-dab right in the middle of it, with Griff, Kearns, Dunn, Casey. And, like it or not, D'Angelo Jiminez (sp?) sets the table nicely. Wily Mo Pena isn't a bad player there, either, he just homers. Damn, If Kyle Farnsworth could ever figure himself out and not leave so many damn pitches right over the meat of the plate, he'd be one hell of a reliever...
  16. Can someone describe what happened? I fell asleep and just woke up now, all I remember hearing was "Martinez...... batting out of order......", lol.
  17. This Reds lineup is really a tough one to deal with. Aramis Ramirez doubles in two with the sacks packed. 9-7, Bottom 7, 2 outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd.
  18. Same here, didn't work here either.

    Koch

Let it be known that though it seems like it, I am no supporter of Billy Koch. If I was Kenny, this offseason, I would have traded Billy Koch for anything, a bag of balls, some extra pine tar, whatever. As long as that team took on most (maybe all but 1 million) of Koch's salary. Then, with the extra money, sign Ugueth Urbina and give him what he wants - hell, he might even take a little less, he's supposedly Ozzie's buddy. I'm pretty pissed off about not signing Urbina, he was there, the Sox had the chance, and they let the Tigers of all teams sign him...

    Koch

Good point, it wasn't that it was a bad pitch, it was that it was a pitch in Sweeney's hot zone. Sandy Alomar, or Billy Koch said something like "We stayed away from that spot (up and in) all game long, and when we threw one there, he hit it."
  21. I believe that is Mags first walk-off homer in his career! YES!!!!!! AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNIER!!!! AND THAT'S A SWEEP!!!!!!
  22. Top of the order coming up in the tenth for the Royals... Lets go Sox!
  23. Not all people can get off of work - or in my case, school, even though I'm on Spring Break - I just couldn't get a ride.
  24. Thomas swung though, if they show a replay, it'll show he swung. Lets go bullpen.
