Off Topic: Bulls looking terrible but only down 11. This is the most interesting inning to watch Buehrle.

God damn there are soooo many important games today with most being the final game of the season for alot of teams. I can't remember a season where there were as many vidal games down to the wire as I do this season.

Well at the very least Mackowiak is the happiest player in the world now.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 12:38 AM) I love it. Homers are the most effecient method of producing runs. It's an agree to disagree basis for me wite. The solo shot has me the most disgusted since it usually seems that about 25-30% of that 200+ have been solos just to the untrained eye/casual fan thats watched most of the games in the past 6+ years. Homers might be the most effected but I would love the occasional two bagger with people on base, maybe a single every once in a while. Is a triple for a slap hitter too much to ask? There's a difference between the increase of an out trying to hit a homerun/pulling a pitch/hitting the ball with everything you got than there is just to hit a basehit/go with the pitch/see a gap and try to go with it basically. While I will never complain about a homerun by all means but hitting 200+ specifically with noone on base... not cool.

I am not a fan of our little 200+ homers a season streak. Just throwing that out there.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 11:18 PM) Garland says he mentally gave up. What in the hell is wrong with this team? As someone pointed out earlier, we've won 39 of our last 89 games. If we're not careful, the Tigers are going to get a huge lead on us. I'm starting to doubt my prediction on 84 wins.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 02:24 PM) Oh man..........I like Vince Young. Ditto. What a stud. Well... at least he beat the SI cover jinx twice so maybe he'll have luck on his side.

I didn't watch this game cause I had to work, but how in the flying f*** does a pitcher have four walks and only give up one run who is not an ace a number two or quite possibly even a number three?

Damn I predicted Erstad would be the first. Well I wasn't too far off.

33 Dead After Virginia Tech University Shooting
I'm still in awe about this and kinda confused myself. This is just as scary as the Columbine fiasco.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Apr 16, 2007 -> 12:41 PM) go everyone who plays NY down the stretch. Well, they lost to the Nets tonight. Were chasing 50 wins and it looks like the Knicks are chasing 50 losses.

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 03:09 PM) what should we expect from Anderson tomorrow? He barely plays and has to face CC. Maybe he goes nuts like he did against King Felix a couple of years ago.

Danks can't buy a win. Poor kid. I don't even think he knew how hard it will be to get a win. He might have to throw a shutout just to have a chance.

QUOTE(daa84 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:53 PM) bad move by wedge....id way rather face borowski here than betancourt... For once I have to question this move from another manager. A non-save situation and you take out your stud reliever with great stuff for Joe f***ing Borowski? Well... Erstad and his .182 average is strolling up there so we'll see.

White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
Wedge you idiot, Betancourt would have schooled Erstad.
