  1. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 02:06 AM) Long term I'll take my chances with BA, especially since he's cheap and we'll have his rights for a while (unless we trade him). I believe when he was drafted, he was listed as a potential 5 tool player (Anderson). I might be wrong Jas, maybe you can elaborate or if you could remember.
  2. QUOTE(3RDBASE @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 01:56 AM) just got back from the pwnage...great game and great time!!!!! I'm wasted whoot! Holy s***!! To actually turn on your computer, go to soxtalk and somhow type those words pretty well is incredible. Join me, Hi8is, and Nuke in that department as far as getting wasted and somehow type decent (even though the three of us type WAY worse). I now proclaim you as one of my favorite posters.
  3. I just like reading the threads (in the bulls and bears forums) and just laugh my ass off of the stupidity of some post on there. I'll pass.
  4. QUOTE(CardsJimEdmonds15 @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 11:57 PM) And I'd be 80% certain right now if these two teams met the Cards would come out on top.. Ditto. Completely agree. I've said it before numerous times and i'll say it again. The Mets are the most overrated team in the NL, possibly in all of baseball.
  5. QUOTE(Contreras @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 12:54 AM) Had you watched it, you wouldn't be calling it a joke. Seriously, I thought he was doing sign language while he was talking. I think that pic in your avatar is sexy... Let the *** talks begin..
  6. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 12:37 AM) Um, nice try, but a D+ on the joke. You of all people criticising jokes... :headshake
  7. I honestly first thought this thread was about Cheat not posting much..
  8. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 12:16 AM) He missed the cut off man in the reds game on saturday which cost us a run, he did the same thing yesterday that allowed the runners to move up but vaz got out of it. I probably should had elaborated more in the sense of "games" he's cost us. BTW, was I talking to you... you ***?
  9. QUOTE(rangercal @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 12:07 AM) Brian makes way Too many mental errors for me to be happy with his D. His mental Lapses cost the sox a lot of bases this year. I'm not saying rowand was perfect in that department. He was way superior to Brian though. Name me one game where his defense, or his mental errors cost us. EDIT: Keeping this beautiful sig just to piss off Kalapse for a good while..
  10. QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 10:00 PM) De Los Santos 3-4 with 2 RBI. My God... Can you say raking?! Jealous DBAH0?
  11. Damn we PWN the Cards. Just saw the score and I was... :o again!!!
  12. QUOTE(BHAMBARONS @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 01:25 AM) Arnie Munoz also was crushed again he a nice 11.20 ERA in Bham and has yet to post a scoreless inning. It appears that Arnie is done WAAAAAY done and it's a shame. Hell, Honel and Wing have better futures than he does which isn't saying much at all. QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 11:15 PM) De Los Santos 2-4. Watch out for one of my favorite spects he's raking..
  13. QUOTE(zygoat @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 01:07 AM) im extremely impressed wiht brian tongit, way to go *Updating his numbers*...
  14. Is that a picture of you on your avatar..?
  15. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 11:56 PM) Agustin Montero, your Greyhound ticket will be waiting in the clubhouse this friday afternoon. Where's Tracey when we need him..
  16. I....... am......pissed. Congrats to Wade and Zo (really wanted them to get rings even though I dislike The Deisel and HATE the Glove) but I have just lost alot of $$$. I will not be a happy camper going into work tomorrow.
  17. OMFG!!! I just got home like 15 min. ago and I cannot believe this score.. Just called my sister and brother and they're shocked and just called two friends of mine (cub fans) and told them to see what we are doing against the Cards.. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  18. I'll say this. There is two LF's that quickly come to mind that make Pods' D look like Willie Mays in LF. I give you Manny Ramirez and Garrett Anderson.
  19. QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 12:41 AM) 3006 White Sox SP - Jose Contreras ROTF....
  20. QUOTE(whitesoxin @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 01:04 AM) Mets beat the Phils and D'Backs. Sox went 6-1 against the Rangers and Reds. Tigers beat the mighty Rays and Cubs. The Tigers can't beat good teams. They choke. Next year is when I'll be worried about Detroit. You are right, but there's no arguing on "rankings" they should be #1. That's my point.
  21. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 01:01 AM) Twins' offensive rankings: Runs=11th Hits=10th HRs=13th SLG%=12TH That's not gonna change anytime soon. Be careful what you say. Just a couple post above you just said noone expected the Indians to have the bad pitching they are having this season. I'm just giving you a heads up..
  22. The Tigers are almost on top of the league in every reasonable statistic except hitting. This is also considering their best record in all of baseball I don't know how the hell (unless they put the sox there who are 5-1 against them) can they not be #1.
  23. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 12:53 AM) Nearly would have been a better word than basically. Ya my bad. Good call. I've been out of school for a year now and I'm going back this summer so I'll work on my grammar..
  24. Why the Tigers are not number 1 just boggles the mind...
