  1. QUOTE(MinnesotaSoxFan @ Aug 20, 2006 -> 08:05 PM) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPybv_pzK_s This is a little before my time of watching tv God damn was that crazy and tweak as hell too.. I wish I could remember that instead of being only 1 year old at the time..

  3. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 20, 2006 -> 04:04 PM) When I saw the name of this thread and then looked at who started it, I was surprised to see it wasn't fathom or myself. QUOTE(GoRowand33 @ Aug 20, 2006 -> 04:07 PM) when I saw the thread title I thought Milkman made it To be honest, when I saw this, I thought whitesoxfan101 made it since this is what he usually says in these type of thread titles..
  4. QUOTE(cgaudin @ Aug 20, 2006 -> 12:49 PM) The Sox of 2006 resemble more the Yankees of 1998 Now I've heard this team and the 98 Yankees in the same sentence. Boy oh boy..
  5. Ima give the props to a hellova poster here. Besides his name itself makes it too obvious to forget his birthday SnB, very disappointed that you didn't start this thread. What kind of friend are you? Here's to the Kelly Wunsch fan! :cheers
  6. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Aug 20, 2006 -> 12:26 PM) I'm almost always fine with Pablo playing over Pods. But whenever Sandy gets more than one start in every 5 games, that is one start too many. Stacking RH batters against a lefty whose best pitch is a changeup makes very little baseball sense. But I digress.. Oh I know what you mean. Didnt want to comment on the line-up too much. But I love how Vazquez doesn't have to face Joe Mauer today. That can only help him.
  7. Even though I don't mind Pablo at all being there since he does have good success against santana, but Joe Mauer not in the line-up....
  8. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Aug 19, 2006 -> 04:51 PM) Didn't he have some surgery before the season? He and Jermaine dye had the same Hernia surgery. So I guess JD isn't fully recovered eigher despite having his best season eva...
  9. Even Ozzie gave a nice comment on Gardenhire. That whole Twins organization I like alot. It was interesting hearing Hawks comments on them yesterday. I respect them more than anyone else.
  10. Is it just me, or does Micheal Wuertz look alittle like Travis Hafner? I noticed it when I see Wuertz pitch.
  11. Jon Garland.. Home: 4-2, 3.88 Road: 10-2, 5.38
  12. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Aug 19, 2006 -> 06:16 PM) HE DID! Well here's the article about Pablo starting and I love the fact that ozzie didn't like Freddy's comments yesterday eigher. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...sp&c_id=cws
  13. BTW, I just noticed that this was Garland's first unearned run this season.. EDIT: Wrong article my bad..
  14. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Aug 19, 2006 -> 08:31 PM) TIGERS LOSE!
  15. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Aug 19, 2006 -> 08:13 PM) confusing, they said there was a big shouting match yesterday in the clubhouse, then talked about that ESPN article. thats all that was said They were fighting with words/anger not with fist. Well, don't quote me on that cause I was never in that clubhouse.
  16. QUOTE(iguchi=dank @ Aug 19, 2006 -> 08:00 PM) I LOVE how jon is throwing 92+ heat on 2 strikes. He doesn't do that enough after throwing sinkers Garland has alot of movement on those pitches as well. 90-94 with movement.. nasty. Maybe Freddy can borrow some of that heat as well.
  17. Just got home from work. Garland is pitching stellar.
  18. Before Count's brilliant outing verus the Tigers on August 11th, our last pitcher who actually pitched a game where he didn't allow a run/earned run was Jon Garland. He did it on July 23rd against Texas. Before that, it gets worse though as far as our pitchers.
