  1. And that's what I think of both of you. Pee and Poop.
  2. Watch out for the Pads. They are going to be even better this year. Hopefully they can hold off injuries and make a playoff run. They got the talent to do it.
  3. Ya I know, I just did it cause it's my name.
  4. I disagree. Ichiro has been known to have a cannon. I believe he can play center also. I think you have the accurate/average thing mixed up. Alittle less than accurate with an arm which he throws bullets with.

Man, I remember the good ol' days when I used to read the posts of Corg, Plosion, Cluster, Beastly (even though they made no sense ) etc.. I forgot why they were banned. (except norg I know he isn't) Can someone tell me?
  6. You forgot to mention that he counters his low walk rate to having one of the lowest strikeout rates in baseball too.
  7. If your KW of course

This is one of the rare times I agree with you SSI Maybe just konerko and wright (if that) for perez should do it. I don't think we have to move pacheco too.

Plus, Konerko has still not yet had a FULL season of consistancy. He's always hit well in the first half and not hit well in the second. (or vise versa) Frank as shown in the past that he can be consistant all year. That's a big difference for maybe a playoff/division run when one is struggling alot and one who is still decent in hitting the ball.
  10. He can play first and Outfield... I like it
  11. He struke out Arod twice on pitches out of the zone. Hitters here can chase the same pitches. Maybe not as often, but it can be done.
  12. Nobody in here is giving up on this season. They are just visioning maggs gone from the sox and the fan base plumiting...
  13. I just said he walked alot of batters in the minors, but he had alot of strikeouts as well. He is going to be a good pitcher. Just give him the chance.
  14. Can you say "Chicago Riot on the Southside.."
  15. That's the biggest thing. If maggs (or even frank) was traded, do you think the average sox fan would not like this because their favorite player is gone? They wouldn't even come to the games anymore (hell might not root for the sox eigher;)) let alone like the management. It'll be different if the sox maybe won the division, but that certain fan would still have that bad taste in their mouth from maggs/frank on a different team (let alone maybe facing him in the playoffs ) Even though I believe they should just deal with it, it is common.
  16. He did throw strikes in the minors. When he came up to the bigs, they changed his style on pitching. That's why he was so screwed up mentally. Sure he did walk a lot of batters and the minors, but he had alot of strikeouts as well. He's going to be a hellofa pitcher one day.
  17. If my memory serves me correctly, Maggs had 29 hrs. and 99 rbi's 1 shy of your 100 rbis u were talking about. He has been getting 100 rbis 30 hrs. years for I believe 4 or 5 straight seasons. Bulkier? Slower? and Older? How your talking, it sounds like your talking about Sammy Sosa in his early now late years. Maggs is only 30yrs. old comming into this season. He has above average speed and his arm is mediocre. He had been training with Arod to get him faster, stronger, and more endurance comming into the season that year. And you don't know what he'll do in the NL. If he was hitting NL pitching in the interleague play and All star games well, I'm sure he'll do fine in the NL. Sure I dunno about a bonds/helton like 1100 OPS/145 RBI season ( I don't think he'll get 145 rbi's anyway because of our lineup) but I'll take him anyday of the week on a fantasy team and as a teammate.

I bet, in all seriousness, that no move will occur, and we'll go into spring training with the same players that we have now.
