They are a game up on Durham for the wild card with 4 games left. They still have a shot to catch Gwinnett for the division but that seems very unlikely now with their 5 game losing streak. I said it a week ago the Knights will make the playoffs barring an epic collapse. Well.... losing 5 straight you can say they're on the verge.

Madrigal is insanely smart on the field. Made a subtle play tonight which the SS wasn't ready for. Could've got the guy out but the SS (Torres) didn't have his foot on the bag. Announcers were applauding him for the heads up play.

If anyone is wondering, Carson Fulmer is in AAA again. I'm assuming on rehab although I could see the Sox letting him stay there to help the Knights bullpen. He's warming up in the pen as I type this.

Sometimes family also plays a role too. Moncada just had a second child and Giolito is a newlywed (may want kids himself down the road). I can see it more on Gio's end since he's already had TJS in his career and pitchers shelf life is much more of a gamble. Not saying either of these guys will do it, but I can see it as consideration.

Probably want that hand to properly heal and get stronger.

Goins may be another toy Hahn may need to get rid of this offseason. Ricky acts like the guy is a great hitter. God forbid he ever trys Moncada in the 3 spot. And way to get Timmy less PA's.
