Yea he has nothing left to prove at AA. Start him at AAA and if you keep him there the whole season, so be it. Although personally I can see him knocking on the door next season around the same time Kopech was promoted.

They couldn't have two Avi uniforms for the players weekend, so one of them had to go.

Some control issues, but Cease strikes out 3 in the 1st.

Second game in a row Cease might pitch on wet grounds. If they get the game in, I wonder how long he'll be out there.

Tyler Johnson another dominant outing. I hope the Sox give him a taste of AA but he might be too important for their playoff team to promote at this time.

I saw an article by Fegan that said partly Burr (and Hamilton when he eventually gets here) will start pitching in non high leverage situations to start so probably won't see him till a game is like 8-1, 10-0, etc.

Congrats to Burr. Old USA teammates with Rodon and I believe Fulmer too. Kinda cool for him to be in the same org as both.
