I'll take the team sucking but looking like (so far in the very early going) we might have a diamond in the rough batting 3rd and doing very well as a 17 year old (Rodriguez) than the team being good and noone of any significance looking the part anyday.

People wanted Moncada to cut his K's. Well, he WAS doing that and then his BB% decreased significantly as well. Now his K's are going back up and his BB rate is staying down. I miss the high BB, high K guy we saw earlier but hey.. we know he has to fail a bit first.

Gio isn't completely back but he's getting there. I'll know he's back when his curve is back, fastball velo is right around 94+ and he's getting his K's (he's always been a strikeout pitcher). But he's looked so much better the past couple of starts. The fact he came back from 3-0 and got Ramirez was pretty damn good.

Big loss for not just the Angels, but baseball. He is fun to watch.

I'll just copy and paste this from another board. On his latest podcast, titled “Is Patrick Kane the real captain of the Blackhawks?”, Pat Boyle contrasts Kane’s on-ice work this offseason against Toews’. That includes Boyle ripping Toews multiple times for not committing to playing in the CPHL this summer, while Kane and others are. Additionally Boyle says, “It feels like he’s (Toews) on an island right now.” Boyle also mentions Kane doing a lot, Toews doing little, to make an effort to incorporate the young players into the team. Charlie Roumeliotis is also on the podcast and says Kane is always the last one off the ice during morning skates, while Toews is usually the first.

Anyone hear Boyle's podcast about Toews? Pretty telling especially since Rocky and McCub are very petty about criticism of their organization in general so you know he is a mouthpiece.
