2018-2019 Official NBA thread
I hope Bulls put the same insurance on the contract with his knee as Kings did with Lavine. If so, I don't mind the gamble at all.

He doubts (as do I) Milwaukee matches either. Here we go...

Race for the worst 2018 record (Top 5 pick) again
Matt Davidson has to be seriously licking his chops right now seeing them on the schedule.

7/12 Games
He started off a bit slow in 2017 then was brilliant until later in the year, then tailed off. Started slow this year again, got better (though maybe still not promotion level as last season, but still) and got promoted. I'm sure he thought he was more justified last season, but hey he's taking advantage so far in a limited sample size. We'll see though when AAA hitters start to adjust as the book comes out on him. Kopech started off great too.

Small sample size. I don't think AAA hitters have the book out on either yet (although I could see boredom too being in AA that long, especially Guerrero who seemed a bit peeved at times)

Bryce Bush 0-3 in his professional debut (didn't strikeout though). OT: But Alek Thomas having a nice start to his professional career with the D-Backs. Went 2-5, 2B, R, 3 RBIs today.

Damn Rodon has really gotten himself into shape. Dude looks like he lost at least 15 lbs just by looking at him tonight.

Good call. Plus the kid threw like 110+ pitches his last start. Let him rest until then.

Already in the small sample size (minus last game) he gets to the FT line often. For a team 26th in FTA last season, he's a welcomed addition. Once he actually gets confidence in his shot (and stops getting contested shots to the rim and starts initiating more contact) he'll be very solid. I think I've only seen Denzel dunk once or twice as a pro. Dude has had knee problems since college (borderline 40 year old knees at this point now).

Definitely as a passer/vision on the court, but he's a much better athlete than Denzel.

Not Bulls related, but Kevin Knox looks like a player himself. Liked him alot in Kentucky but even I didn't expect him to look this good. Extreme upside. Knicks got a good one.. maybe they should start booing all their top picks. Seems to be working well for them.

I blame injuries more than performance. I think Kopech gets too much criticism here from what off the field stuff he was and likely still is going through. Eloy, Dunning, Hansen, Robert, etc. injuries have really sucked for this organization and this isn't even counting the lesser guys like Puckett, McClure, etc. Adolfo might be the only bullet we've dodged and he still needs to develop defensively in the OF too.

Yikes. Just saw the story. He just put something on his Twitter blantly denying the accusations which he should do, but this is gonna be quite the rodeo. If it true... I can't see how he doesn't get the Ray Rice treatment and maybe more with authorities.
