Explosions at end of Boston Marathon
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 02:40 PM) Patriot's Day has a connection to Timothy McVeigh. Obviously no one knows anything yet, but could be domestic terrorism. I would be surprised if this was foreign terrorism. This strikes me as domestic. i think foreign would want to go much bigger.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 02:37 PM) https://twitter.com/DerHayden Guy is saying it was suicide bombers. Have no idea how credible he is. There's no way he could have known. He was several blocks from the other explosion.

2012-2013 NBA thread
I know I am supposed to bow before the throne of Rose because he's a Chicago kid, but I have lost a TON of respect for him. I found it so funny that Carmelo Anthony was telling people to leave Rose alone, while his own teammate, Iman Shumpert, was injured on the same day and he's been back since January 17.

Brad Stephens: bring the brick and ivy to Rosemont
I find it interesting that it'll be done over 5 years rather than take one season off, play at US Cellular, then have it all done. If they really want to give a middle finger to the roof-tops, move away for a year... AND obstruct their view.

I finally saw The Amazing Spiderman. I'm not sure what I think of it. THe first half was not good, but I liked the second half. I did like all of the original Spiderman trilogy. So, I guess I am having a hard time separating my like for the original with the re-nvisioning of the series. Emma Stone though... oh my. huba huba!

2012-2013 NBA thread
QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Apr 12, 2013 -> 09:10 AM) Jimmy is averaging 44.6 minutes in 16 games he started this season, insane minutes while having to deal with the oppositions' better or best wings throughout the game. He could be our two guard of the future, Thibs, please ease off the gas pedal on this kid! This team is so banged up, there isnt much of an option.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 10, 2013 -> 08:01 AM) You know, I could actually buy that explanation, but going with the other plot element , that's just so overdone. I actually saw it opposite. makes sense to me. Especially for someone who is power hungry. The was too much for me.

My wife's family is in Iowa, we lived in IL (we lived in separate housing!). We specifically went to her parents house one weekend with the intent on me asking him. I never got a moment alone with him. lol oh well. I still asked her, she said yes.- (Insert Celeb Here) is Dead
QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Apr 8, 2013 -> 02:42 PM) That kinda bums me out. She was an original Mouseketeer. Being that I was 5 or 6 years old, I watched the Mickey Mouse Club every day after school. I'm pretty sure Annette was the first girl I ever had a crush on. I'd be willing to bet there were many young men who went all wanky wanky to her.- (Insert Celeb Here) is Dead
