  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 7, 2013 -> 02:56 PM) That stretch of highway is incredibly boring. Oh, very boring
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2013 -> 02:50 PM) That drive will hit a lot of deadspace. not on I88 and I80. not from my experience. My work phone is Verizon.
  3. QUOTE (Brian @ May 7, 2013 -> 02:38 PM) You don't have a Sirius or XM radio in your car that you don't pay for service on? Maybe just pay for a month. no, not on the car I'll be driving. i think I'll just do the NBA app and stream while I am driving. My work phone has unlimited data
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 7, 2013 -> 02:32 PM) From the picture of Deng - I'd be shocked if he's available at all in this series. Being bed ridden for that long will undoubtedly mess with his endurance and physical condition. He needs time to get back into game shape.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 7, 2013 -> 02:07 PM) http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/radio.html It looks like some combination of... 1330 AM (Rockford) 1060 AM (Rochelle) 94.3 FM (Dixon/Sterling/Morrison) Once you get to Iowa, you're f***ed, but that will cover about 70 minutes or so, I'd guess. Thanks! I saw the Rockford/Rochelle stations. I figured I could patch work it for a while. I think I might have to invest in the app to stream the game. There's no blackouts for radio streaming, right?
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ May 7, 2013 -> 01:55 PM) Look for any ESPN affiliate. It's a national radio broadcast. I checked and ESPN says it's not a national broadcast: http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/show?s...=nbaonespnradio
  7. I am driving to Iowa for a job interview on Wednesday night, any one know where I can pick up the bulls game on the radio between Rockford and Iowa City? I'll be past Rockford by tip-off and WMVP does reach past Rockford. My last ditch hope is to buy NBA Game Time Plus and stream it to my phone while I drive.
  8. Susannah Collins on her firing- As most of you know by now, I had a slip-up last week on the air while covering the Blackhawks playoff series. As a result of the attention it received, an old web-based sports comedy series I participated in several years ago came to light. The intention of that show was to present a satirical, tongue-in-cheek approach to sports but, unfortunately, some of the material it contained was off-color and offensive. I understand why some may have been offended by it and for this I am truly sorry. To be clear, that show in no way reflects my personal opinions. It has always been my dream to cover my hometown teams on the network I loved watching. I have worked tirelessly to develop my skills as a sports reporter, anchor and host, and I want to thank the city of Chicago for allowing me that opportunity. The outpouring of support I have received is overwhelming and it will remain in my heart, as will Chicago. Always. --Susannah
  9. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ May 7, 2013 -> 09:29 AM) They have a huge heart and huge stones.
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2013 -> 06:49 AM) A gay joke from Sam. Classy. He likes snakes on his plane... if you know what I'm sayin
  11. NBA Jam has to be top 10, right?
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 6, 2013 -> 04:33 PM) 1) Tecmo Superbowl 2) Ken Griffey Jr Presents Major League Baseball 3-25) irrelevant I spent WAYYYYY too much of my youth playing Ken Griffey Jr Presents Major League Baseball
  13. Boozer is generally bad near the basket, but he is always extra bad near the basket when they play the heat. He's too soft and plays below the rim. You can't play low with James around.
  14. BREAKING: Bulls have announced a Derrick Rose statue will be placed outside the UC. Installation is expected before next season.
  15. @Gil_Brandt Love Kyle Long pick by @ChicagoBears. Was told by several people @nflcolts (24) and @Packers (26) would have taken him had Bears not.
  16. I really think Reggie expected the Bulls to completely tank this season and they wouldnt make the playoffs... so he decided Rose was out fr the year. When they did make th eplayoffs, i bet he expected the team to declare Rose out and he'd be able to say "Well, Rose WAS going to play in the playoffs, but those evil Bulls wont let him". Then the last series happened and it completely blew up on them.
  17. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 2, 2013 -> 07:47 AM) Iron Man 3 was very good, not quite great. Saw it 3-D here in China. I would rank the first Iron Man ahead of it, and last year's Avenger's just a small notch above... Kind of like a cross between The Iron Giant and one of the Terminator movies...with Tony Stark's unique and cocky sense of humor as usual thrown into the mix. Ben Kingsley was very good as The Mandarin. Also a fan of Rebecca Hall. I thing Avengers was MUCH better than iron Man 3, but Iron Man 3 was excellent. I am now in love with Rebecca Hall.
  18. Iron Man 3 was excellent. Great character development and that is all in will say.
  19. QUOTE (Brian @ May 3, 2013 -> 01:55 PM) Newhart was hilarious on Big Bang last night. He's a shell of his former self, but dudes still got it.
  20. A few years ago I caught a four ball (bare handed I might add) and there were two kids next to me. I gave one of them the ball. Their dad works with mine and I later found out it made their day and they loved the ball. Not to gloat, but THAT is what you SHOULD do.
  21. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 3, 2013 -> 02:16 PM) I'd prefer to give him a bowl of chicken noodle soup wearing a Hazmat suit. followed by a bath in hand sanitizer
  22. @LuolDeng9 If I'm medically cleared I will fly to NY to be with my team and try to win game 7 (insert your own cheap shot at Rose here)
  23. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 3, 2013 -> 02:06 PM) I wanna give Lu a hug I know, right?
  24. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 3, 2013 -> 11:24 AM) Yet they knew about them before she was hired, it was on her resume. The Blackhawks organization might not have known. the people that hired her almost certainly did.
