  1. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:34 AM) I really dont think Young can stay after this game. He just flat out dominated, and he almost always looks to pass first and run second. He will be very good in the NFL, if I was Houston I would trade Carr and draft Young. They have a good RB core, they have Andre Johnson, they in no way can hurt their franchise by drafting Young. He is going to be a Texas hero, if they pass on him and he does well, they will never live it down. Even if Young doesnt pan out, the fan base will understand far more. Would Carr be worth an early 1st round pick to someone? The Jets could use a good young QB; as could Detroit, New Orleans, Cleveland, Oakland, Arizona... etc.
  2. He was always a "seo-seo" player IMO.
  3. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:40 AM) Lol, no s*** I was lucky. Tatum Bell? Thank goodness I didn't spend too much time adjusting the prerankings. Yeah, I had like, 4 guys who got benched by their teams so I got 0 points out of them. :headshake I wish the championship would of been held in week 16.
  4. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 3, 2006 -> 07:23 PM) Check this out. http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/?p=1562#comments
  5. How's about this? Texans trade #1 overall to the Jets for the #4 overall, OL Jason Fabini and the #1 pick in 2007.
  6. Exactly. How many World Titles has Beane gotten for Oakland as GM....? Oh, that's right. None.
  7. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 06:19 PM) Just say no to Parrish. He had an over 2.00 whip last year and has not shown good command ever in his career. This guy has bust written all over him. He has had a decent ERA the last two year, albeit in limited innings. But, he lets too many base runners on base. Baj and Munoz are better options. Cmon.. He'd be a LOOGy. Certainly Cooper can work on his command. And no. "Baj and Munoz" are not better options.
  8. Someone needs to take film of that and make it a 1908 version for ytmnd.
  9. The only way you send a pitching prospect AND Sweeney with Contreras and Uribe is that we either get 1/2 of Tejada's contract paid for or a reliever and a lower spect back. Per reliever, I like this guy: John Parrish. The guy just looks like a bulldog pitcher. He had a good ERA last year but needs to work on cutting down on the walks. Maybe a young guy like Brandon Erbe as a low spect. He was a 3rd round pick last yr by Bal and is as inexperienced as Lumdsen. But, he is in Baseball America's top 10 Orioles prospects. 48Ks in 23.1 IP in rookie ball this year. Not bad.
  10. This article is like whack-a-mole. A new version of it pops up every month. :rolly

  13. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 12:17 AM) Wowwww....Penn State had a 29 yd FG to win the game, wide left. 16-16, looks to be going to OT. Laces OUT, DAN!
  14. Ahh genetics. Secretly, AJ Hawk wants to boink Brady too.
  15. I wonder if they will do a Flying Spaghetti Monster episode.

  17. Leinart's got that Danny Wuerffel/Gino Toretta vibe about him. Vince Young will go to NO if he comes out. A lot of Texas fans will follow the Saints, especially if they end up in San Antonio.
  18. I like the idea of the Bears getting Pope at TE, but will Dumerville fall to #30?
  19. What's this "clause" that Contreras has?
