  1. I think our troll fella there is a sox fan. He was complaining that you copied the article from his site or something.
  2. Jeter is to SS what Jeff Kent is to 2b. Decent power, limited range and glove skills.
  3. Just to make it interesting in the scoring, I am going to continue with our picks in the playoffs and use a graduated scoring system. Each correct pick in the Wild Card round is 2 win shares and 4 points. Good luck! Saturday Washington Tampa Bay Jacksonville New England Sunday Carolina NY Giants Pittsburgh Cincinnati
  4. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Aut_...ov=ap&type=lgns Who knows whether they will keep Vitt or not.

  7. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 2, 2006 -> 01:51 AM) "Eat me, Sux fans! Oh yeah, Podsednik sucks!!!" Is that a mask?
  8. QUOTE(POPPY_HIDALGO @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 12:30 PM) And what curse are they talking about? Thats what upset me more than anything. The Sox never needed no stinkin' curse as an excuse. The only curse that the Sox have is fans who are certain that the team will fail all the time.
  9. I don't know how much offense that Houston would want to give up. It was their downfall in the WS. I'd assume that they'd want a spect OF with Contreras since they have no power in the OF except Berkman (possibly Lane). Maybe Sweeney or Owens? They could move Berkman back to CF after he gets healthy and open up a corner spot for another power guy.
  10. The 'stros know first hand how good Jose can be. They NEED a pitcher. They will pay if necessary.
  11. Tavares, Qualls and a good prospect like Jason Hirsh and the Astros are close.
  12. I'm guessing here: http://www.easports.com/games/mvp2005/home.jsp
  13. That was featured in an episode of CSI with Bobcat Goldthwait.
  14. QUOTE(joeynach @ Dec 31, 2005 -> 01:08 AM) Bradford, Fogg, and Camp I could all see signing minor league contracts. All have potential to be servicable out of our pen. Some work with coop can rescue anyone. Bradford = Mets
  15. QUOTE(103 mph screwball @ Dec 30, 2005 -> 10:45 PM) Munoz and Uribe for Tejada and a prospect Ah hell.. forget Uribe in that scenario.
  16. 24 grand on the 9th, 6000 on the 30th. 1800 in 3 weeks 6000 a week. I'd guess we get to 1 mill by the 5th or 6th of January depending on BCS games and Miguel Tejada.
  17. I haven't even bothered with the PS2 yet.
  18. But, but... Gload can play the OF!
  19. Count, Uribe and Liotta for Tejada.. you can print the WS tix now.
