  1. How about this? http://www.mustangmods.com/data/5495/paulie.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/5495/paulie2.jpg
  2. I could see this bringing the Saints a new retractable roof stadium north of New Orleans, out of the levy-flooded area. They can still be the New Orleans Saints and not have the stadium in New Orleans.
  3. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 02:30 PM) So Knight, if we called it marriage, but did not force any churches to perform them or recognize them if they chose not to, would that fit your standards? I see no reason why anyone, anywhere, should force a priest to marry 2 people he does not believe should be married, even if its for racial reasons. There are always other options. Judges, for example, or other churches. If a church chooses to perform them, is there some reason that the church should be forbidden from doing so? The term "marriage" is a relgious term. Homosexuality is against most churches' beliefs. Civil unions would be the way to avoid the majority of conflict by the churches.
  4. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 02:23 PM) Civil rights movements start small by definition. Eventually the minority becomes a plurality, and the plurality eventually becomes the majority. Why, I can remember a time here on this very board when chicken plookers and coffee table lickers were considered outcasts. . . So, you're saying that the majority of the people in the world will be homosexuals in the future?
  5. I believe that "Same Sex Unions" should be a state issue and a tool for financial linking as well as relationaship cementing. Leave the word "marriage" and the church out of it. Most churches don't approve of it anyway, so why try and make them bend their religious beliefs? If courthouses can't have the 10 commandments, then churches shouldn't be forced to allow same sex marriages. It's a two-way street.
  6. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 02:05 PM) The angels also have a real problem in that their best starting pitcher may be battling chronic lower back troubles. Well... being big in the front can cause back trouble. Just ask David Wells.
  7. Except for 1917 there, no other year on that graph resulted in the post season. Hmmm...
  8. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:55 PM) This Jesse Jackson you speak of, I am interested. Is he left handed, and can he pitch? Ohhh... he pitches a LOT of things, my friend.
  9. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:49 PM) Only if there are TV cameras HEY! There ARE TV cameras there! We may have a shot at this!
  10. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:21 PM) Again if memory serves...Karko was always pretty fast until he blew out his knees in the early 90's. 10 steals in 1992.
  11. Another speculation article stirring up the s***. :headshake Phil Rogers can s*** in his hat for all I care. The Sox will get it done without his little stats disproving them.
  12. QUOTE(bmags @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:20 PM) so you're saying we should hold a million man march in us cellular field to get to 3 mill? Would Jesse Jackson show up?
  13. More words about the Count. That's 5 walks! 1,2,3,4,5! A-a-a-a-a-aaa!
  14. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:17 PM) Hmph...so this really is a game thread...lousy hidden game threads with C of the C names... My bad. I thought it would be appropriate for today's game.
  15. JP Howell 1-5, 7.08 vs. Freddy Garcia 12-7, 3.75 Let's finish em off boys!
  16. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:39 AM) Trust me, Fruity Pebbles + 2% millk + 2 weeks on a window sill = living organism. I think that the mold/mildew that comes from the milk/cereal concoction existed in the environment already. It needed the energy from the milk/cereal to grow and reproduce.
  17. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:31 AM) Again, not if the directionality is different. Enviroment wasn't created for organism, organism evolved to survive in enviroment. That is the toughest statement to prove of all that has been posted here today.
  18. The fact that there is an environment for ANY living organism is the most improbable fact of all.
  19. Yet, the atmosphere was still breathable for life no matter what life it was.
  20. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:21 AM) I respect what the guy has done for the game. I rooted for him when he was with the Braves and aslong as he isn't in our division, I might as well root for him. That's an opinion that you won't see from many Sox fans. The Cubs are considered a threat because of the Cub fans that the average Chicagoan (who is a Sox fan) has to deal with on a daily basis. I myself, have no hate towards the Cubs, just marginal pity.
  21. Okay, you can spontaneously have an explosion occur if gases build up somewhere... But it is HIGHLY improbable that the rocks, debris etc. from that explosion can just happen fall into place so that it creates a planet that is 100% perfect for living organisms.
