QUOTE (Y2HH @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 02:03 PM) If this is the case, why can't I create a "White bar" for white people who want to hang out with other white people? QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 07:24 PM) There's ALL KINDS of bars like that and there's nothing wrong with the way it's done. Exhibit A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p577qBZnsZU

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 07:16 PM) You can't be serious. I mean, I didn't go to UConn, I went to Iowa State, and even there... I played pickup games with some of the girls on the team. They are impressively good. There is no chance a mid-level high school boys team "wipes the floor" with them. I'd say it would be a good game. An average to above (team does to district finals) High School boys team would have at least 2 or 3 guys over 6'6" and at least 3 long range shooters. Plus, their upper bodies would be more muscularily developed overall than a college woman's. -

If the franchise gets moved, Minneapolis will want to keep "Vikings" I assume. Like Cleveland did the "Browns." -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 06:02 PM) From that list, the Raiders, Dolphins, and 49ers have been on hard times compared with the mid-90's, while the Iggles and Patriots have had such long streaks that htey've moved up. The Colts were barely a thought then, other than the fact that the store was in Indiana. The Raiders stuff always sells - especially to non-fans.

I'd love to watch a mid-level High School boys team wipe the floor with UConn's women's team. -
QUOTE (whitesox91403 @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 05:43 PM) The Mets and Montreal. See, I wouldn't have said Cincy if I cheated.

I find it very hard to believe that the Bengals are more popular than the Browns.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 04:00 PM) Cheater! I'm not a cheater. I know this stuff. He played for Cincy and Montreal in the same day.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 03:45 PM) Right, I just don't feel like googling these things on my work computer. I'll go looking for some studies if I have time tonight. The link is right up there ^^^^^

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 01:31 PM) OK, who's smarter...one thousand Y2HHs or a comatose Ditka?

Gay bars exist because of straight people. If there wasn't the fear of being bludgeoned to death by accidentally "hitting on" a homophobic, gays wouldn't need their own bar.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 03:15 AM) Who is the only player to record a hit for 2 different teams in 2 different cities in the same day? Joel Youngblood

It's hard to believe that he's never once gotten an Academy Award nomination.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 21, 2010 -> 06:19 PM) And the unprotected sex so he doesn't end up with kids from like 10 different women. I think that before you join the NBA, you should get a vasectomy. Free sex, no risk (outside of STDs). You can always have it reversed.

Statistically, Favre has been one of the best QBs in NFL history. That said, he's played most of his career for teams that are the Bears' rivals. In other words, while he is respected statistically, his recent personal issues and continual waffling on retirement, combined with the rivalry hatred will naturally color people's opinion of him here.

QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 21, 2010 -> 07:56 PM) A piece of string walks into a bar and tries to order a drink. Oh. . . , you heard this one before? I'm afraid not.

Four members of the Justin Morneau fan club got in the wrong autograph line.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Dec 21, 2010 -> 07:47 PM) Exactly the sort of "Da Bers" s*** I'm talking about. If this was Cutler, or any other Bear, it would be, "Such beautiful blocking, beautiful misdirection on the screen, a perfect pass, and beautiful finish." When Favre does it, it's mediocre crap and anyone could have done it. So I repeat... Cutler's TD passes were not even close to screen passes. Cutler is the closest QB to young Favre in comparison/style of play who is playing in the NFL.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 21, 2010 -> 06:48 PM) Dear Knightni: Solve our $6.2 billion (and growing) budget deficit and we'll take care of the Vikings. Sincerely; the Minnesota state legislature. I guess you look at it this way. You either go another 400 mil in debt at minimum and keep NFL revenue flowing in your state, or you are still 6.2 billion in debt, you lose even more state business and tourism revenue, and you have millions of pissed off people who will want another team in 5 years that will cost the state 1 billion dollars to bring in.
