  1. There's a guy out there somewhere that I sat near at a game who's sporting a Lorenzo Barcelo jersey.
  2. Ironic that people against cruelty are for self-mutilation. Just sayin'...
  3. http://www.sporcle.com/games/deej/pitching2000 Look who's #1 with 301.
  4. QUOTE (GREEDY @ Mar 13, 2010 -> 11:44 AM) Grown men wearing shirts with other grown men's names on them is strange/creepy/sorry. Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, LaCoste, Calvin Klein, etc. say "hi!"
  5. Anyone have any projections of the top 10 guys for the draft? Including leaving-early speculation...
  6. Leesman looked overpowering at times last night vs KC, but then his location would get away from him.
  7. Unconditional release waivers tomorrow. Any Sox candidates?
  8. I'd almost rather bat A.J. 5th than Kotsay. Paulie's going to get a lot of IBBs this year unless they solve the DH issue.
  9. Detroit's colors are Navy Blue, White, and Orange.
  10. QUOTE (JoeBatterz @ Mar 15, 2010 -> 10:36 AM) Go Irish! They can beat ODU and Baylor. Villanova...not so much.
  11. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Mar 15, 2010 -> 04:46 PM) 110/128 I missed

  14. Forget July. Try April or May, when the attendance is lower.
  15. There should be a time in the future where they wear each and every one of their past home and away jerseys as throwback days throughout a year. From 1901-now. That would be seriously great.
  16. I know that the writer calls the Swisher trade a product of KW's learning time early on in his GM job, when it only happened a few years ago.
  17. Late '10 or the '11 Season, I can see a DH/C platoon between Flowers and AJ with Retherford as MI bench and emergency catcher.
  18. Would the Braves have traded Hank Aaron? Would the Giants have traded Willie Mays? Would the Yankees have traded Mickey Mantle? Pujols is in rare air, IMO. The fans in St. Louis would be seriously pissed off. When Pujols hits 36, 37 is about the only time that I could see him leaving, ala Frank Thomas after 2005.
  19. Well, if you look at it this way, these guys either are still available or signed a minor league or under 1 mil contract. You could field two teams with these guys and get Rule 5 guys. Granted, they'll both probably be a less than 60 win team, but still...you could. Most of these guys are under 35 as well. 20. I looked hard at Kansas over Kentucky. It's a near toss up, but John Wall is magic.
  21. I'm fairly chalk. Villanova Kentucky Kansas Syracuse Kentucky Kansas Kentucky
