Enough of the Juan Uribe derisiveness. We know he sucks.

Boy. Walking into this thread just now, you'd think that the Sox are down 9-2 or something.

The Ex-Sox Thread
QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Apr 11, 2008 -> 08:32 PM) Chris Young never played for the Sox, yet you mentioned him. Only because everyone else constantly does.

LET'S MAKE A LIST
QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 11, 2008 -> 05:36 PM) My guess is Holy Grail. Funny thing about that movie... It's not in my top 20. () And I'm the guy with the Grail screenname.

Share your rain-out game stories here
I worked for the local A ball team here in concessions for a couple weeks about 12 years ago. The entire 2 weeks I was there, it rained every damn day. We would show up early, cook the food, prep everything and then they'd cancel the game. I drove 10 miles each way for two weeks and wasted my evenings for like 2 hours worth of work at $5.50 an hour.

Share Your Umpiring Thoughts
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 11, 2008 -> 02:29 PM) So much for it not meaning anything... I agree nice response! That is a classy move by MLB to respond personally to these emails. I bet that they cut-and-pasted that reply a few hundred times.

Best White Sox Brawl?
Best two non Sox ones. The Dodgers diving into the stands at Wrigley and Kyle Farnsworth power-bombing Paul Wilson.

LET'S MAKE A LIST
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 11, 2008 -> 03:49 PM) Now I have a bad feeling might be Dumb and Dumber. Not that I don't enjoy that film, just not among my top picks. Nope. If you care to know, you can PM me.

12 hours is pretty solid for a guy who trains/practices/plays/charities/hits on the honeys so much and is away from a computer a lot.

LET'S MAKE A LIST
You're both wrong. Although I just got List 9 and 10 today. Gonna do some re-adding. EDIT: Nope, same one still #1.

The Ex-Sox Thread
Well... This really wasn't meant to be for listing names, but whatever works, I guess.

Catch-All Anything Thread
I was reading wikipedia regarding rickrolling earlier. There was actually a poll done where they found that approximately 18 million people have been rickrolled since 2006.

Well, after 2 days we have 8 lists and a strong front runner. Ironically, the leader was not chosen #1 on anyone's ballot so far.

Interesting Sex Research
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 03:21 PM) The book sounds like it will actually be pretty entartaining. I heard an NPR piece on it yesterday and the author described some pretty humorous research studies covered in the book. One of the studies she includes had an investigator putting tiny polyester pants on lab mice to see what the effects were on reproduction. How'd they make the medallion on the chain small enough?

LET'S MAKE A LIST
QUOTE (The Bones @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 08:07 PM) I'll come up with a list for you. It'll probably be loaded with a bunch of recent movies though, and Dr. Strangelove of course, but that's just cause I'm a young whippersnapper compared to all the old folk. Very few older movies get the "shock laugh" that the newer ones do.
