I believe the Sox will make the necessary moves to solidify the team. i.e. Starter and bullpen help. I think the Sox will pull the division this year. Don't panic yet Sox fans. Its a June swoon but it won't last...at least I hope not lol.

Maggs is about the best bargaining chip the Sox have. Teams don't really seem too interested in anyone else the Sox have and that the Sox are willing to trade that is. I am sure the Sox will not resign Maggs no matter how much anyone wants them to. The Sox obviously have much bigger holes than the offense. They have to trade a big booper for some pitching plain and simple. I say bye bye Maggs if they can get some good pitching.

Hell the way this pitching staff has been of late, with the exception of Shingo and maybe Marte. It wouldn't have mattered who Ozzie would have brought in. Would you have felt more comfortable with bases loaded and Cliff "Hanger" Politte in to pitch that Jackson?? Both those guys are as bad a Koch has ever been.

So I take it that its not going to happen right? hehe

Sad thing is if Jackson wouldn't have given that gift grand slam. The Sox would have tied the game with PK's 2nd homer at 5 - 5. Instead they lost and we are all stunned. I vote for releasing Jackson and bringing up Man Hands if he is ready... if not maybe Grilli or Santiago.

I heard this morning on the Score, that the Bulls are tryin to trade the #3 and a couple players for Paul Pierce. I say do it.

I mean for the most part I would bet Maggs is gone anyway and the Sox don't seem to be having a lot of trouble scoring some runs. They are having major problems with pitching and if Maggs can net you a very good starter why not do it?

What if the Sox offer the Marlins Maggs and see if they wouldn't trade one of their stud pitchers...like Dontrelle Willis. And tell them hell no for Koch... I am sure they would like to give him back but no way.

Sad thing is, if it werent for that stellar pitching display by Jackson. The game would be tied. I hope he is cut tomorrow....but who do they have to replace him really?
