  1. I can remember as a kid trying to use ms dos and having to guess at where things were in the directories. And lets be honest, Oregon Trail was a great game.
  2. Ill just pretend thats sarcasm, because even as someone who uses windows its undeniable that they tried to emulate the Apple operating system. Unless you never used a computer that ran with ms dos.
  3. The owners know the players will eventually cave. At this point the owners may as well sit and wait out the players.
  4. Way too early to be talking about multiple undefeated teams. And why would you say that Okie State is more likely to go undefeated than OU? Okie barely beat A&M, I really dont believe they can run the table. In fact I wouldnt be shocked if they go into the final game with OU already having 1 loss.
  5. Ill take Wisconsin straight up, but 9 points is pretty steep. You game Rock?
  6. When I think Illinois or Indiana I think basketball, but that is mainly because their basketball teams have been more successful than football. That being said, I have no fear of any team coached by Tan Tommy.
  7. lol That is a pretty absurd reading of the situation. It pretty clearly states "offseason moves failed to pan out and the team floundered."
  8. If a school gets sanctions so should a coach, and they should follow him wherever he goes.
  9. Hahn will get a shot, just not today. Its probably moves like this that prevented Reinsdorf from firing Kenny. You have one guy (KW) who admits his mistakes and takes responsibility. You have another (Ozzie) who demands an extension.
  10. Bartman story is on ESPN, Ill never forget when Bernie Mack calls them the Champs because I was with some Cubs fans and I was adamant that Bernie was trying to jinx them. Bernie was a Sox fan, so it was really odd they had him sing that night.
  11. Rumor has it that the SEC commissioner is going to request that the BCS change the rules to allow more than 2 teams from a conference in the BCS. My guess is that only the Big 10 and SEC would approve, thus not going to happen.
  12. Good luck Ozzie, Ill never forget the time ... Had some good and entertaining memories because of you, so thanks for the good times!
  13. I answered saddened but its more like "conflicted". Part of me is glad that the Sox are moving on, but I would have hoped it didnt have to end this way.
  14. Part of me is sad, no matter how much I disagreed with some of Ozzie's decisions. Good luck, thanks for the good times.
  15. Well last year MSU went 11-1 and did not go to a BCS game, and there was no CCG. Im just saying with the first year of having a CCG in the Big 10, I think you really want to be one of those 2 teams, and not a team who doesnt go there and hope you some how jump the loser.
  16. I understand that the Bears run game wasnt going well, but how does Martz defend not getting Forte more involved? Just because they cant run the ball doesnt mean he cant call a screen pass or throw to Forte in the flat etc.
  17. Illinois has to beat Wisconsin for a BCS game. I think they likely go to Champs Sports and the loser of the CCG may get a BCS bid.
  18. Right its a message board, so might as well just be reasonable. Its one thing to discuss why walker should or should not be the coach, its another to just say he wont be. Its supposed to be fun.

I thought Sunny was pretty good, better than last week. Whitney was really bad, I saw maybe 5-10 minutes but couldnt stand it.
  20. Milkman, Kitekrazy hit the nail on the head, people have been saying its common sense that Greg Walker will be gone for longer than I can remember. So to act as if its a "done deal" is just ignoring all historical evidence. I personally believe that Walker will not be back, but I wouldnt be so bold to guarantee it. DA, Another argument is how many Sox hitters went on to other teams to drastically improve under another hitting coach? I just dont think the Sox have had a lot of offensive players who have been complete hitters.
  21. Unless you have some inside information, I think that statement is highly debatable. Everything I know suggests Walker is extremely well liked and respected by the White Sox front office. He may not return, but its not close to a done deal.
  22. The problem is that Devin Hester is never going to be a X receiver, and if you want him to be effective it has to be like Az Hakim in Martz offense, not Holt or Bruce. What makes no sense is that the Saints defense was semi-predictable (blitz or not) and yet the Bears make very little change at the line. Im pretty sure thats a Martz thing, I dont think he likes audibles.
  23. Im fine with the Bears throwing a lot when most of those throws were check downs to Forte. And someone mentioned San Diego, a big part of SD's ability is because Rivers calls out protections and knows how to move his line. Cutler barely does this and he doesnt have a line that can make the calls themselves. They really need to work on preread protection, because some of those plays they were just letting defensive players go free, while they were double teaming inside. Clearly some one messed up. But 1-1 after ATL and NO isnt bad.
