  1. Nice work by Mark to keep them from scoring.
  2. Come on Mark walking people is how you gave up runs.
  3. I dont care if Humber got hit hard or not, the reason the Sox lost yesterday was Humber only getting through 4 and having to rely on the pen way to early against a talented Red Sox line up. Im not complaining, Humber has been great and hell get better. But lits the truth.
  4. lol what? Humber not going 5 innings was the culprit last night. And Boston has a good offensive team, you knew they would try and wear him down to get at him.
  5. You dont have to convince me, I said that I dont think its the Sox year. But there is definitely a reason for the ownership to believe they have a shot.
  6. Tigers have given up 488 runs so far. They are the inverse Sox, and id rather rely on pitching. Outside of Verlander that staff is marginal.
  7. You guys sure have a lot of love for a team with a negative run differential and a team that has 12 come back wins in the 9th at home. If the Sox were in the West or East theyd have no shot, in the Central theres a chance a 500 team wins the division.
  8. I completely agree ticket prices are to high. Im not sure that has to do with the product on the field.
  9. Ticket prices would increase the amount of people that show. Sox have priced out a lot of people. Im not sure why they dont see it, but it seems like they want to be pricey.
  10. I dont know why fans dont show, I can only read what people on this message board say. 90% of people complain that the Sox arent winning. So if you are rebuilding and losing 90 games a season, how many of those fans will show? I go to the game for entertainment, so id still show up, but it gets lonely when there are only 10k fans there, and thats been with teams who were considered contenders. /shrugs Easy to sit on the sidelines and complain.
  11. Prior to trading Jackson Sox staff blew the Tigers staff away. Sure the Tigers will score more runs, but there is a reason why they have a negative run differential. Its just classic grass is always greener, but all of the teams in the Al Central suck and if Im going to bet, Id bet on the team with the best pitching staff. That being said I just dont think this is the Sox year.
  12. Sox fans wont come to the park during a rebuild, ownership knows this and thats why you most likely wont ever see the Sox do a complete rebuild.
  13. As if Kenny is the owner and the one who is making the calls on a fire sale or not. The Sox have put in a lot of money into this season, they arent going to sell when they believe they are better than the 2 teams in front of them.
  14. Dunn had no chance, waste to start him today.
  15. If its not right down the middle Dunn better not swing.
  16. Tigers have to win the games Verlander starts otherwise they are going to be end up being under .500 to end the season.
  17. Yep, Sox arent just going to give up when they have any chance at the playoffs. They also arent going to sell the entire team and go in with no expectation of competing. Sox fans wont show up for a team that needs 3+ years to develop.
  18. Neither Pierre or Carlos are going to play CF, thats a tragedy waiting to happen.
  19. If you or your father is an attorney, you can file a lawsuit anytime you desire. Doesnt mean youll win.
  20. Omar and I go way back. And I think that CQ was more likely to be traded before the Sox went 2/3 from Detroit. I personally think that the Sox would trade CQ, but it would have to be a perfect deal.
  21. Chisox, Only problem with Pierre, Brown, Viciedo is no real CF.
  22. Carimi shouldnt have any problem as hes a tackle and will be coming to an offense that doesnt run half as many run plays as Wisconsin. And he immediately should make an impact in pass blocking.
  23. Her father is the lawyer who filed the case. Nothing really to see here.
  24. If the Bears sign Roy Williams I hope that he gets focused because the guy has talent. Cutler has done better with bigger WR's so if they can get on the same page this could be a good signing. Its all on Williams to perform.
  25. One mans trash is another mans treasure, if you pay 90% of Rios contract Im sure you can find a team that would basically take Rios as a flier. You hope in a new environment he gets his head straight and hes a steal. If he doesnt you can do whatever because you only paid a few mil for him. (not saying this rumor is legit, just that you could deal Rios)
