They need to make better transition decisions, just because the first basket isnt there doesnt mean there wont be a mismatch a few seconds later.
-
Come on Deng gotta make a better decision.
-
When the Bulls dont run offense they struggle, need more discipline.
-
Bulls have won both quarters, 2 left. And its amazing when the bulls shoot even slightly better they actually have leads.
-
Korver made a shot!
-
Up 4, just need to win 3 more quarters this game.
-
Very frustrating team to watch. They run good offense, get nothing for it, so then they decide to bounce pass in the lane.

Because they are taking jobs that regular citizens cant taken. if a business is paying an illegal $2 an hour, they arent going to hire a non-illegal for $8, they just wont hire anyone. If you stop illegals working in the US, all that will happen is you will have less businesses in the US. The labor supply is an international supply, the US cant believe that it can regulate it and hope that businesses will still stay here without giving them sort of economic advantage. For the most part the biggest reason for companies to move to Vietnam etc is the cost of labor is so much cheaper than the US, that they can make it in Vietnam, ship it to the US, for less than making it in the US. Furthermore, there is no evidence that immigration (legal or illegal) results in the loss of jobs for those in the US. In fact the statics show (as ive provided in other threads) that the US economy has increased the most rapid when there is the highest rate of immigration. Which makes sense because immigrants are not only labor, but they are also consumers. So by having more immigrants you have more consumers, which means more business, which means more jobs. Im not sure which economist it was, but there is a theory that everything adds to the economic pie, so basically more immigrants add to the economy, not take away.

We got our first OH GOOGLE entry!

Well Steve the original poster compared him to Rose and I merely pointed out that Lebron is more like Jordan than Rose (in personality). Not sure how this is such a shocking development considering that Lebron wants to be MJ.
-
Your right Steve, at Jordan's HOF speech he didnt attack a bunch of guys like Byron Russell. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-jordanhall091209 Oh wait, he did. Sorry the reason I used Jordan because in this very specific instance, it was an apt comparison. Lebron, like Jordan, can be petty about perceived insults, and there is evidence to support this. So not everything has to be Jordan, just this time, it made a ton of sense.

Im very aware, perhaps you didnt read the thread where there was the discussion of SC and the unions, but I called it a "race to the bottom". I just dont think that allowing illegal immigrants to work in your state because the federal law is a disaster, is a race to the bottom. I think allowing people to work is freedom, and Im a big fan of freedom. The reason there is no race to the bottom, is because the hope for states like Illinois etc, would be that the federal law changes and allows illegal immigrants to become legal and therefore be given all the great things we give to citizens. But if we cant give them that, at least we can give them a chance at a job and a better life. So not sure how its a race to the bottom.
-
You cant compare Lebron and Rose because they have completely different personalities. Lebron is like Jordan, and to Lebron the media picking Rose as MVP is disrespectful to Lebron.
-
I have no problem with LeBron doing it. LeBron thinks hes the MVP, hes proving it on the court and hes showing the media that the title means nothing.

We are on the losing end when it comes to losing business. I never said whether or not that was an overall "loss", or whether or not those restrictions were with merit, just simply by having restrictions you will lose some business.
-
But more to the point, its been Chicago's offensive problems. These are problems that were occurring in season though, so its nothing new.
-
I dont think allowing people to compete for jobs is a race to the bottom. Its just the only way around the unfortunate fact that certain people dont want to allow legal immigration out of fear.
-
Still results in employees being in the state who pay income tax, or who live in the state etc. There is a reason they give out subsidies and try and attract large businesses. (edit) Although illegals wont pay income tax, they still will purchase products. (sales tax)
-
More business in the state generally equals more revenue for the state which means indirectly a win for me as Im in the state.
-
Well as I said earlier the only reason youd want Lebron in the paint would be to create more passing opportunities for other players, But that still denies the Heat what Lebron is the best at, scoring points. In the right match up I could see going to it, but against the Bulls it just would be playing to their defense (as it would be to most defenses who play pack the paint style defense).
-
From all accounts Lebron is as hard of worker as anyone, for all the people creating this Lebron doesnt work hard myth, hes probably played more games than any player in the NBA over the last few years, when you count NBA games, Olympic games, etc. I just dont see any reality in these statements.
-
Completely disagree, Lebron is going to be the 3, unless you are suggesting Lebron 4 and Bosh 5. If you have Lebron down low its immediately a double from whoever is on Joel Anthony, Haslem, its not coming off of Bosh.
-
Lebron could post if he wanted, it just doesnt make a lot of sense with the scheme Miami runs. Lebron in the post would bring an immediate double team from whatever C/PF is guarding Joel Anthony, and could potentially lead to Lebron being pinned against the baseline (effectively triple team). Lebron isnt playing the paint right now, because it really would be an ineffective use of his talents, which include being faster and ability to penetrate. Unlike Jordan most teams dont even attempt to put a 6'4 or smaller guy on Lebron, in almost every match up his biggest advantage is quickness on the ball. If anything he should post more to get other guys open going to the hoop.
-
Lebron worked all off season so he can basically play entire games during the playoffs, how is that not working hard?

The Bulls just need to win 1 game, 3 times. You cant think of it as 3 straight, Bulls hadnt lost 3 straight this season, until they did. The question tonight will be does Thib put the Bulls in the best position to win. If he does, I think the Bulls win, if he does not, I think its the end of the series. This is all on the Bulls, this is a series they can win, its just whether or not they are willing to make changes.
