Wow, Humber. You fo' realz?
Where did anyone say he was a sub 3 era pitcher? You made comparisons to players that failed, when you can just as easily point out guys who have gotten it before the turn 30. No reason to always look at the negative side, so I presented the positive side.

Miami better hope that Dallas doesnt get hot from the floor, because the Miami offense is seemingly to hope Lebron makes a shot or pray that the refs call a foul.

haha Contreras? You mean had the Sox gotten Contreras when he was 27, but when Contreras was 27 he was a monster. Even Loaiza is a pretty bad comparison, because Humber was quite the spect out of college. The better comparison are guys like Gavin Floyd, who had stuff but just couldnt put it together. Humber has talent, and its nice to see him putting it together.

Yeah so Ozzie was able to help Vizquel get an inning a new position so when he retires he can say he played 1b too. Maybe hell have him catch next, time to have some fun.

Vizquel to play 1b, at least Ozzie was able to do something.

If only we had that fly out with 1 out. Ozzie just doesnt even pay attention.

Because Im not really responding to anyone in particular, just general comments on the game as I see them. People always ask why I dont use the quote feature and its because unless its certain instances, I usually am just commenting in general, and I dont want someone to think that I picking them out.

Oh Im not saying youd get more than Danks, its just hilarious that people are acting like Jackson has no value, when he clearly could get a solid return. As for 6 ers, the last was runner left on base who scored because of a terrible decision by Ozzie and then a terrible fielding play by Pierre. Had Jackson been allowed to finish the 7th, I think we are leading. Some times its not about how many ers, its about how a pitcher looked. And if Jackson is only walking 1 batter a game, you are going to see that era/whip plummet.

lol Yeah Jackson wont bring any return because every staff in the league has guys better than him. Come on now, if the Sox wanted to trade Edwin, he could be gone today.

Jackson was fine, hes just the easiest whipping boy on the Sox staff. Bautista hit a 3 run hr off of him and he was a little off the first few innings. The fact is that if 5 ers is a terrible start, than no pitcher should be pitching in the AL because im not sure there is a pitcher who hasnt given up that many. He kept the Sox in a position to win, gave up a few weak hits (broken bats etc), but when he got a lead he held it. Got no problem with that outing.

You mean an outfielder can sprint back towards a ball? Even though Davis didnt get it, Pierre should watch that replay and see how he sprints to the god damn wall and then tries to make a play. Its just insanity.
-

No Stone, that wasnt a difficult play. An average left fielder understands you sprint as hard as you can to get to the spot and jump only if the ball is going to hit higher than you can reach. Pierre seems to think that you jog back and then randomly jump to make it appear that the play was harder than it was.

Ah well I think that would have been caught by an average left fielder, Juan just cant seem to go back on fly balls without making serious blunders.

Throw a strike make him hit it
