  1. That is just beyond pathetic. I wonder where the next closest team would rank over that time span. It's probably the Devil Rays with like 7 to 10 wins. Even Shawn Estes won damn near 10 games over that time span.....
  2. He was getting shelled at Pac Bell, which is perhaps the friendliest pitchers' park in the majors.
  3. LOL I just clicked on your profile. Those are some killer chops that you have there!
  4. Probably because he makes you feel like a dumbass...
  5. Yeah, it doesn't make much sense. I have a UK version of their Greatest Hits. There are only 10 tracks, but both "Baba O'Reilly" and "The Seeker" are on there. The latter is one of my top five Who tracks, without question. Other favorites that aren't included on this Greatest Hits comp: "Going Mobile", "Bargain", "Getting In Tune", "The Real Me", "Sea And Sand", "I Am One", etc. And of course, the breakdown on "Naked Eye" is flawless. But I only listen to the live shows these days. "Tales From The Who 1973", "Charlotte 1971", "MSG 1974", and "Charlton 1974" are just a few that I'd recommend.
  6. Closer? Didn't somebody on here say that his fastball is in the 86-88 MPH range, or am I thinking of someone else?
  7. Happy birthday, mang! I have a Dan Marino rookie card in horrible to fair condition.....maybe I could drop it in the mail for ya! BTW, bring back the APU avatar!
  8. Good point. And no, I am not BrandoFan's b****.
  9. 14 consecutive scoreless innings against the likes of Baltimore and Minnesota.
  10. I hit 58 on the radar gun
  11. Horrible movie. Kiefer fell off after "Stand By Me", IMO
  12. Didn't you also predict that the Sox would lose like 12-3 to the Blue Jays in the game that Ted Lilly started? Are you an undercover cub fan?
  13. No, it was in english. I couldn't understand the particular brand of english that they spoke, though. It's just a horrible movie. I watched it with my brother and a couple of my buddies, and they couldn't stand it either.
  14. One of my guilty pleasures.... Take 16 from the Peter Sellers Tapes is a much better version than the official one, I'd say. The refrain is kind of weird, but it's still a great track.
  15. There are just way too many to choose from, but I'd have to go with "In My Life".
  16. Still though, we're talking about Ichiro, Boone, Ibanez, Winn, Aurilla, Martinez, Olerud, etc. That is a very good lineup, regardless of how old Olerud and Martinez are.
  17. It just occured to me that if we were to acquire Ventura, our entire 1993/1994 infield would be reunited (Thomas, Cora, Guillen, Ventura). That works for me.
  18. Things will turn around for the Mariners. They'll put together a nice winning percentage against the butt of the AL Central and AL East. They're just getting murdered right now within their own division. They have the best defense in the American League. Their rotation is solid from 1 through 5. They have a very good bullpen, although Sasaki was a huge loss. They have a number of hitters who could do some damage at the plate and on the basepaths. They need a new manager, if anything.
  19. Sorry to hear about that, man. What a bunch of pussies.
  20. Jack McDowell Alex Fernandez Wilson Alvarez Jason Bere and.... Kirk McCaskill Solid!
