  1. Let's get it on.
  2. 96% save percentage? That is phenomenal. I figured that it would have been between 90% and 93%. And that 0.61 ERA....wow. What about consecutive scoreless innings? If Eck went like two months straight without giving up a run, then I might have to reconsider. How about OBP allowed? Batting average against?
  3. He came into the game with a .977 OPS. By the time the game was over, he had a 1.033 OPS.
  4. Yeah, that is unbelievable.
  5. What was Eck's save percentage during his 1990 season?
  6. Real men of geeeeniuuuusss
  7. I have absolutely no confidence in Koch.
  8. Who is any good in that rotation? I figured that Affeldt would be somewhat decent this year, but even he has had some issues. I can't think of anyone in that rotation that I'd want on the Sox with the exception of Affeldt. I'm not really sold on Brian Anderson.
  9. Just about anyone, I'd have to assume.
  10. Gagne went a full season last year without a blown save. That is easily the best season ever for a closer. Easily.
  11. I don't know. I don't like it. You know that he'll still be rooting for the Cubs if they make the playoffs, whereas, most of your "die-hard" and "devoted" Sox fans want the Cubs to get slaughtered.
  12. Not a smart move. Don't get me wrong. I love Barkley. He's my favorite sports personality, I'd say. Hell, I'm drinking coffee out of my Barkley mug right now (as my Ron Kittle mug is in the dishwasher ).
  13. Eck an Mo have put up numbers that are just mind-boggling. They were easily the two best closers of all time before Gagne came along. And I usually take current players for granted when we're talking about "Best Ever" at their positions. I could only think of three guys that I'd say that about at the current time: Rodriguez, Bonds, and Gagne.
  14. Excellent. I'm very happy. 3.62 ERA? Beautiful.
  15. AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
  16. He who has 70 or more consecutive saves is the greatest of all time. So, I voted OTHER. It's Gagne, all the way.
  17. Some very good stuff, apparently.
  18. Let's get this victory for Jon Boy.
  19. I read about this in the paper on the day that Miller started against the Sox. It's very disturbing, to say the least.
  20. That is just beyond pathetic. I wonder where the next closest team would rank over that time span. It's probably the Devil Rays with like 7 to 10 wins. Even Shawn Estes won damn near 10 games over that time span.....
