  1. Time for Anderson to hit the ball. Let's pick him for tonight. Just heard he is off. That is twice now for me... OK, I guess I will pick Tyler.
  2. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 10, 2017 -> 09:55 AM) Not so fast. Top Judiciary Democrat: "It was clear the FBI was taking its job seriously" "It was clear the FBI was taking its job seriously, and a substantial investigation was underway," Sen. Dianne Feinstein said, referring to the Russia investigation. Feinstein called on a special prosecutor to oversee the Russia probe. She added that, at a minimum, the timing of Comey's firing "could implicate" the administration. CNN.com “Do you have evidence that there was in fact collusion between Trump associates and Russia during the campaign?” CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked California Sen. Dianne Feinstein during an interview on Wednesday. “Not at this time,” she responded. “Well, that’s a pretty precise answer,” Blitzer said. (this was end of April) With her being on the intelligence committee, if there is something there, she would have seen it. They can WANT to see it all day long. They will continue to assert that there is somethign there to keep it in the news. At some point you have to move on.
  3. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 9, 2017 -> 09:05 PM) He certainly has the right to fire Comey, even though his contract ran through 2023. What will cause a problem for EVERYONE, will be if he tries to jam his own "pet" candidate through the Judiciary Committee...that will cause headaches for Republicans and Dems alike. The fact of the matter is that even "reasonable" Republicans are starting to question whether there might actually be some fire to go along with all that smoke over the last 9-10 months about the Russia interventions in the presidential election. That's not going away, especially if an independent special counsel isn't named. With every Democrat in the damn country looking at that angle, and nothing to show for it yet, you still gonna ride that horse? Dianne Feinstein said there is nothing there, and she hates Trump more than you. And f*** your call for an independent counsel. Every time a Republican sneezes funny you Dems scream for an 'independent counsel'. Hillary didn't get one, this doesn't get one. Move on. I WIL agree with you, however, that if he tries to appoint someone not qualified it will be headaches all around. He can be hated by the dems, but still has to be qualified.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 4, 2017 -> 11:24 AM) Got a replacement in your future huh? I have zero cartilage under my left kneecap and it locks so I have to wear a strap. Its fine for now but the doc says the wear and tear will ruin it eventually. Yes. The doctor keeps aaying I am 'too young to get it now' so that is why we tried this gel shot. While it is nice, i still can't do a lot of things. So yes, replacement is in the future. I have had 4 surgeries on that knee in my 50 years, when that happens, hopefully it will be the last.
  5. My right knee is pretty much cartilage-free. I get clicks, knee locking up, can't walk for longer than 4 or 5 minutes, excercise is painful and I do stairs like a kid, either one at a time or leaning heavily on the arm rail. Get it looked at and do what they say. Had been getting drained and cortisone shots, but those went from working about 3 months to about 3 weeks. Got some sort of gel shot this last time and am on a little over 2 months now. Feels tons better, can actually do stairs (slowly) but still can't walk much.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 3, 2017 -> 06:11 PM) https://finance.yahoo.com/news/people-start...-142448442.html Conservatives starting fire Colbert movement after homophobic insult about Trump/Putin's "closeness" Just imagine the uproar were the names switched with Obama/Ackmadinnerjacket or whatever the iranian guy's name is. Or Obama and anyone else, for that matter. Live up to your (not you specifically) own rules.
  7. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2017 -> 12:15 PM) At least he was kind enough to address me as Mr. BigSqwert in my email. Sounds like he microaggressed you by assuming your gender.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 07:06 AM) Put Kris Bryant, Shwarber and Addison Russel on to test this theory. I second this.
  9. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 04:33 PM) I'd get banned for this post. Just sayin' I would say it was a factual description of you groveling to your fellow sjw's.
  10. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 02:38 PM) Um. 7% of all people suffer from depression, and for teenagers to deal with it at a SLIGHTLY higher rate seems, um, completely normal and identical to the experience of every generation ever. So. Seems your rage is misplaced. 11% ADHD according to cdc. 8% with depression From the cdc website "The percentage of children with an ADHD diagnosis continues to increase, from 7.8% in 2003 to 9.5% in 2007 and to 11.0% in 2011." So slightly is almost 40% from 2003 to 2011. The only rage I see is coming from you, who like Jenks pointed out, takes everything you don't agree with as a personal assault and license to be an ass.
  11. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 01:39 PM) Wait, Alpha you actually think an entire generation has panic attacks, in everyday conversations? I just...I mean...WTF First, I didn't say that. So please read a little better. Second, with anywhere from 10% to 33% (depending on which med report you read) of people under 24 on Adderol or other type meds, 1 in 8 suffering from depression is it such a stretch to go with a lot of kids are f***ed up? I know not all are. Just from my anecdotal views, I have 2 nieces who are stellar students and I have 2 others that are going to be on government handouts for most of their lives, I believe. Panic attacks, anxiety, OMG, I can't have a job where I have to talk to people! (one actually said that, while she was tweeting something). Most of the adults I know have one or more kids on some type of attention drugs. I believe I said something like " it seems like every damn kid I see today ...". Not 'an entire generation is f***ed up'.
  12. On a side note the Dems thread has past this one again. Guess they are more agitated over there. You would never guess that from the few that post here...
