Allright. I'm going to Wrigley on Saturday. A friend had 6 tix that he had to get rid of, so I took one of them. Let's just say, I'm not rooting for Tigers, obviously. I would just prefer that the home team win.
Anything that helps the Sox is a bonus.
WAY TO GO THICKMAN AND YOUR SAVES STREAK. GO HAVE SOME MORE CHEESEBURGERS.
Great team effort. Very exciting win. Too bad Mark couldn't get the victory, but good for Montero getting his 1st ML win.
Shades of '05
Isn't Buehrle something like 0-5 in head-to-head matchups against CC ?
The law of averages are bound to work in Mark's favor.
Plus, look at the stellar bottom three hitters we have today:
Widger, C
Uribe, SS
Anderson, CF
:headshake
No-Trade Clause this year right? Just checking.
If Little Jonny can't handle criticism, he shouldn't be playing. It comes with the territory.

oh come on ventura... i was responding to a question on where thornton was...
It's funny how you said "watch for Thornton" right before Ozzie came out. That was a pretty good call.

Snopek certainly sucked as did that stiff shortstop Royce Clayton.
But Brian is certainly a horrific hitter, in that class.
Anderson will improve. I'm not going to put him in with those players. He doesn't deserve it.

Do you think at this point Brian is the worst player in Sox history?
Hitting wise?
Umm, no. That would have to be Joe Borchard, Chris Snopek, Mark Johnson, etc. Many others worse than Anderson.
At least we took the first two games of the series. I have a bad feeling about tonight's game. Garland could be getting Tee'd off on.
We might see Tracey pitch.
I hope I'm wrong, though.
As for Anderson, this could be a good time for him to serve his suspension or send him down. Have the kid regain his stroke and bring him back up for the second half.
Yep, he sure is finished. I heard during the game that Nelson told Ed Farmer that he's going to hang 'em up if he's has to have surgery.
The 4 appearances were memorable and will lodged in my brain forever....
I sure hope this isn't some phantom injury and the cause of Cliff pitching like a piece of s*** this year. I hope he recovers and comes back as the Cliff from '05. If this is what it takes.
As for Tracey.... :sleep

June 6 minus nine months equals September 6. Looks like Juan went deep twice that night. Once against the Royals.
