In Better Call Saul news......

After the last few weeks, it's gonna be a long summer without S.H.I.E.L.D and Person of Interest. Both have gotten better and better. Not a surprise that Fox cancelled Almost Human. I might have been the only one who liked that show but reading about it, it was another show that Fox thought it would be better to air the episodes out of order and it screws with the long term story. Not sure if the other networks do this, but Fox sure seems to do it a lot....(ie Firefly, Almost Human, Enlisted)

Flipping channels this afternoon, I came across Maverick (Mel Gibson) on some channel. I have always thought this was an awesome film and was always stunned that they never had a sequel as it was set up to have one. I don't think they even talked about one.

Watching this weeks Revolution I had to chuckle. I believe last year Monroe mentioned the California providence (and their savagery). With what I figured was a small inside joke he mentioned it was run by President Affleck. I laughed at the thought of Ben being President. Anyways, this week's episode mentioned President Affleck but used the words 'her' and 'she' when doing it. LOL Who knew Jennifer could be such a savage President.......

I thought the ending for HIMYM was ok....not great but nowhere near as bad as some think. My question to the haters here is what could they have done that would have made you say "That was a good ending" cause to be honest there are a few here that I don't think would have been satisfied no matter what the ending.

Damn.....Suits made me feel bad for Louis Litt (despite ANOTHER shot of his butt crack ) I am enjoying the show--Sirens-- right after it too........

I wanted to try a NL only this year but was met with a very lukewarm response to AL only again it is. To me it's more of a challange than AL/NL since you don't have a bunch of starters out there on the waiver wire or on your bench. Makes you do a bit of research and it's a nice feeling when you find that diamond in the rough or that one year wonder. The year Nate Jones went 7-0 was a great find for me...and T. Walker from Seattle was a nice pickup for me. We have our live draft coming up this Sunday night.....can't wait.....thinking of new draft strategy this year...we'll see if I stick with it or stay my course.... of course I did win my league last year so something was right.....

are you using AL/NL players or only one league??? I have run a 8 team 5x5 AL only league for years........ We have C-1B-2B-3B-SS-2B/SS-1B/3B-Utility 4 OF's 3 Bench spots/1 IR 12 pitching spots........ I've only done a couple mixed leagues.....seen bigger and smaller rosters......personal choice by league GM i guess

All the theories i've head mentioned and I haven't heard anyone mention the obvious.....Desmond forgot to push the button.........

I don't know how many people have been watching since the beginning but Person of Interest and their overarching plotlines have been wonderfully written and executed. To me this is the best serial show on tv.......

In TV news noone expected (or probably wanted to hear) NBC has ok'd a reboot of Heroes. Tim Kring will be in charge again. I remember an interview with Kring after it imploded the first time around and he said a lot of his original ideas were nixed by the network including Syler losing a showdown with the good guys early in the show's run. The network said no due to his increasing popularity. Also, I vaguely remember him mentioning the revolving door in the writing room in that some writers would start a storyline with an idea on where it was going and then be let go half way through and other writers changing direction. I believe they are looking for a 2015 date and at this point it's not clear whether it would be a whole new cast, old cast or combination of both.

For the 2nd week in a row Enlisted had me laughing more than any other show....though James Earl Jones on TBBT was a close second....
