The fact that he rejected a four year/30 million dollar deal from the Expos earlier this year is one of the reasons he is considered for a contract of this caliber. The guy is excellent. He's a double machine, kills fastballs, was clutch, and is a top 3 defensive player in the league. I don't know about 7.5, but Cabs is very deserving of 6-6.5

I agree, I don't make that deal whatsoever, or any deal for Baez in my opinion. All I am saying is that the Devil Rays won't be reluctant to deal Baez if they get the right offer, for the sole purpose of selling him at his highest point.

He had a great season, why wouldn't Lamar look to trade him? Buy low, sell high and in my opinion if Lamar could muster Williams into giving up a Crede or a Garland, he'd do it in a second.

I was at the game, and from the angle I had, I thought he made the catch aswell. Every Purdue fan in my section jumped for joy until the umpire waved his hands incomplete. Correct. But, Rivera knew he was going. He threw back to first 5+ times, nearly picking him off in the process. Gutsy f***in move, not an easy decision at all.
