An interesting tidbit from todays globe:

He's dieing to be a Red Sox, as is Lowe. They have both come out and said they wouldn't want to play or live anywhere else, and that Boston is the only place they can see themselves being. With that being said, until Varitek dumps that Latrell Sprewell-like attitude, he'll be gone, and if Lowe doesn't take a considerable pay cut he'll be gone.

I'd really like to see an uploaded version of the patch we are using onto the site so I can pick the team I would like. Alot of times, especially in leagues where I have chosen the White Sox the patch has guys like Garcia and Buehrle as 2.0's or in other words dime a dozen pitchers. Is it to much to ask to upload everything to the site so people have a better understanding of who they are going to be choosing? thanks.

When you buy it, you are given an id number that allows you to download the game to two of your computers. Even though its against the rules, alot of people I know split the game 50/50 with a freind and each get a download of the game. If you want follow the rules as I did, just shell out the 19.99. Considering I got it on the first day it came out, it was 34.99. 20 bucks is well worth it.

The one team I have never been in an ootp league is, how ironic, the Boston Red Sox. Even if Urbina was available, why would he be traded within the division? Unless he demanded a trade to the White Sox for Ozzie's sake, he won't be traded within the division or even the American League.

I'd suggest doing it on a friday or saturday night because those are the two times that I am prioritized in something else other than soxtalk.

I think defense should be considered thats not what I am saying, I just think it was considered to much in the AL MVP's case. I mean, its not like Manny Ramirez lost games with his defense and its not like Vladimir Guerrero won games with his. Vlad won the award on defense alone or atleast that is how ESPN and other various sports sites are portraying it and not how he had an excellent September when Glaus and Anderson were nowhere to be found and not how he had just an excellent season when all the teams in the offseason were crying bad back. Vlad deserved it, I admit.

That Virdo is an excellent ballplayer. Hey buddy, I just recommend you get off the Cabrera bandwagon, because soon you'll be arguing about Jose Valentin being a better defensive player than OC. Whatever it is, these guys don't like Cabrera, although me and you can have our own little anthrax party once the White Sox sign OC.

I love Mr. DUI, and considering the nickname he has been labeled with, Atlanta might look to trade him especially if his numbers are going to jump up in arbitration.
